Chapter 1458: I’m here!

Inara watched as Archer was being consumed by a primal rage, their glow casting an otherworldly aura over the Terravian Pseudo God stood outside his barrier, taunting him by using the harem he loved.

Moments later, a flurry of White Dragon’s illusions materialized around him, staring down at him like proud fathers. Her jaw dropped in awe as she spun to face Elara. ’’Did you see that? The ancients have completely embraced him!”

’’Yes, but that’s not important now,’’ she responded before getting back to rushing the soldiers into the Domain. ’’Archer is losing his shit and must be fearful for our safety thanks to that being.’’

’He must have felt threatened to go this mad and unlocked his primal side, thanks to the ancestors acceptance,’ she thought, her breath catching as the realization hit her.

The Pseudo God loomed over the battlefield, waiting to break through the barrier her lover had created to stop the stranger from getting inside. She was worried as the Terravians’ power dwarfed anything she had ever felt.

Inara soon calmed down when realizing Archer had just gotten a power boost from the previous White Dragons. Moments later, she got happy, muttering. ’’Maybe this will stop them from attacking us during the war, if one of their powerhouses dies. it should scare them.’’

Following that, she felt his aura erupt, a tidal wave of raw power that warped reality itself, sending fissures snaking through the ground outside the fortress, forcing the remaining soldiers to panic.

She staggered, her hand gripping her blade for balance as the sheer weight of his presence pressed against her chest. Even Elara faltered as she appeared beside her, whispering. ’’What in the stars is he doing?’’

Inara was just about to reply, but was stopped as their lover started speaking. ’’Running?’’ his voice rang out in a thunderous snarl. ’’You think I’d run?’’

His grin was feral, a slash of defiance against the cosmos. The enemy’s eyes flickered, and it shifted as if sensing the storm about to break. Her pulse raced, she’d seen him fight, seen him lead, seen him love, but this? This was a god-killer unchained.

’Tiamat created a god-killer!’ the older woman finally realized. ’Is she planning something?’

Just then, a loud boom was heard, and Inara had to drive her sword into the wall they were standing on, not to be blown away. She grabbed Elara as the redhead was about to be blown away.

She glanced up just as Archer moved like a comet, a blur of violet fire and unyielding fury. The ground exploded beneath his boots and shattered into a thousand pieces as he launched himself at the Pseudo God, the impact shaking the heavens.

’’I’M HERE!’’ he roared, his voice a cataclysm that split the sky.

This forced Inara to cover her ears as it was too loud. Her red eyes widened in shock as his fist, ablaze with crackling mana, smashed into the Terravian’s chest, hurling the creature backward.

The fiend staggered, its corrupt energy flickering wildly, but he pressed on, undeterred. Inara watched as his laughter echoed, fierce and unyielding, each strike a thunderous blast that tore craters into the ground.

Inara’s grip tightened on her blade, her heart torn between awe and fear. ’He’s going to tear himself apart,’ she thought.

She was watching the violet glow in his eyes flare brighter, his movements growing more erratic, more unhinged. The Pseudo God lashed out, its tendrils of their evil energy whipping toward him.

’’Husband!’’ she shouted, her tone nearly lost in the storm of his fury.

Archer didn’t hear her, didn’t see her, his world was the Pseudo God, the fight, the madness. As he drove the enemy back, the sky above cracked with lightning, mirroring the fire in his eyes.

Inara took a step forward, her instincts screaming to pull him back, to ground him. But she stopped, rooted by the sight of him, him-a man, a myth, a force of nature, burning brighter than any star, even as he risked burning out.

Archer was ablaze with crackling mana that rushed across his body like lightning. He dodged several attacks before smashing his fist into the Terravian’s chest, hurling the creature backward.

The fiend reeled, its vile essence pulsing erratically, a storm of corrupted energy crackling in its wake. Yet he stood resolute, his heart ablaze with purpose; he would slay this Terravian before it could lay a claw on the women he loves.

Casting aside fear of the vicious counterattacks and the injuries they could bring, Archer surged forward, an unstoppable force. The fiend met his advance, its jagged limbs slashing through the air, but he was already upon it, a whirlwind of vengeance.

Fists wreathed in pure mana collided with its hide, each blow a thunderclap that split the earth beneath them. The enemy retaliated, its claws raking across his chest, tearing through flesh.

Blood sprayed, but that didn’t stop him. Pain was fuel, and Archer was a furnace ablaze. He drove his knee into the creature’s midsection, the impact reverberating like a war drum. He then followed with a savage uppercut that shattered its jagged maw.

The Terravians’ howl of agony was drowned by the relentless storm of his attack, a torrent of punches, elbows, and searing mana blasts that burned the air to cinders. Yet the enemy was no mere beast.

It countered with a ferocity that matched his own, its talons carving deep gashes across his shoulder, nearly severing muscle from bone. Black ichor mingled with crimson as their blood painted the ground.

Archer staggered, his vision swimming, but his rage was a supernova. He seized the fiend’s arm, twisting it with a sickening crunch, and slammed his forehead into its skull, the collision sparking arcs of raw energy that lit the battlefield like a dying star.

Blow for blow, they tore into each other, neither giving an inch. The fiend’s tail lashed out, slicing through his thigh, but he answered with a kick that cracked its ribcage. Each strike was a declaration of defiance, each wound a testament to their mutual savagery.

The ground quaked, fissures spreading from the epicenter of their clash, as the air grew thick with the acrid scent of blood and ozone. Archer’s breath came in ragged gasps, his body covered in wounds.

’This thing is strong,’ he thought, spitting up a mouthful of blood. ’Not many people can give me a fight like this.’

Following that, the battle continued as he landed dozens of powerful punches on the enemy’s battered body. Its form splintering under the onslaught, it let out a final, guttural scream as he drove both fists, blazing with fury, into its core.

The impact unleashed a shockwave that flattened the surrounding trees, and the Terravian’s essence shattered, dissolving into a maelstrom of fading embers. In a heartbeat, the battlefield erupted.

A thousand devastating blows descended like a celestial storm, each strike a thunderous power, laced with arcs of searing mana that burned through the air. Faster and fiercer they came, overwhelming the enemies’ faltering defenses.

Its evil aura shattered, fracturing like glass under the relentless onslaught, as its monstrous form buckled, teetering on the brink of annihilation. He watched as the enemy vanished into nothingness.

Once it was gone, he dropped to one knee, sensing the remaining Terravians retreated using the portal as they panicked. Just then, Inara appeared in her Primal form and grabbed him with her massive mouth.

The older woman made sure she did it gently, causing him to tease her with a small smile as the exhaustion started overtaking all his senses. ’’Treating me like a cub ay.’’

A low, thunderous growl rumbled from Inara’s throat as she spun on her heels and bolted toward the looming fortress in the distance. The ground trembled beneath her powerful strides, each one faster than the last.

As the stone walls of the stronghold came into view, she didn’t slow, didn’t even hesitate. With a fierce cry, she launched herself into the air, soaring high above the battlements and landed in the courtyard.

She skidded to a stop as gasps echoed from the guards stationed atop the ramparts, their eyes wide with disbelief. Though she was no longer as massive as she had once been, Inara was still an awe-inspiring titan, her presence alone enough to freeze them in place.

Archer collapsed to the ground with a heavy thud just as she shifted back into her human form beside him. His body, battered and bruised, had already begun the slow process of mending itself, flesh knitting together.

With a weary flick of his hand, he used Mana Manipulation and created a seat from thin air and sank into it with a groan. Every muscle in his body ached, the weight of the recent battle pressing down on him like lead.

He closed his eyes for a moment, letting the exhaustion wash over him, content just to breathe and be still. Moments later, Inara joined him, smiling sweetly. ’’Thank you for helping us, handsome, we were worried when seeing that being.’’

Archer glanced at the lioness before laying his head on her thick thigh, surprising the older woman who played with his hair.
