Alex pulled all the Elixir out from the sludge that Whisker had brought, turning it all into half a cauldron full of Elixir. This water too had been created by him, so when he stepped away, the water disappeared, leaving behind just the Elixir.
This time, there was enough Elixir that Alex could see it all with his naked eyes. It coated the bottom of the cauldron like before, but this time, it also pooled a small amount at the bottom.
Alex reached in and touched it.
It had the feeling of a dense honey or syrup. It no longer felt like water.
‘So this is what real Elixir is like,’ Alex thought, wiping a bit out with his finger. He looked at it in the light. It was no longer colorless like before, but had a tinge of brown or yellow color to it.
It was so light that had Alex not been searching for differences to water, he would not have easily noticed the color.
“It actually has a smell now,” Alex said with surprise. “It’s very subtle though.”
Whisker stood at the cauldron’s rim and smelled inside before nodding. “So strong.”
Alex licked his finger, immediately feeling the Elixir dissolve on his tongue before entering his body.
His body felt quite a bit of shock from the intensity of the Elixir. It was as if every muscle fiber in his body thirsted for the Elixir and wanted more of it.
Alex scooped out what he could, and used a little bit of water to collect the remaining.
Before testing a mouthful of pure Elixir with no additional water of his own, Alex ate the Elixir that Whisker had brought for him.
He drank the pill bottles one after another, feeling the Elixir enter his stomach and then spread to all parts of his body. It was a marvelous feeling that Alex hadn’t felt in nearly 4 years.
His body had been thirsting for this.
Alex finished the 3 bottles that Whisker had given him and waited as the Elixir deposited all around his body. He could tell in that moment that his body had gone through a noticeable improvement.
His body had improved in strength, going from the peak of Immortal Transcendent 3rd realm, all the way to the edge of the Immortal Transcendent 5th realm. It was hard to tell if he had entered that realm or not, but he was certainly close to it.
“Wow!” Alex said in surprise. He hadn’t expected to overcome an entire realm’s worth of strength in just 3 pill bottles worth of Elixir. That was just about a jar full of Elixir that he had bought.
The Elixir in the pill bottles had been denser, so even though in amount he had consumed less, it still had shown just as much improvement as the few jars of Elixir he had consumed the last time.
Alex waited for a moment and let his body get acquainted with this new strength. He made a fist, observing the strength in his body. How much was the pure Elixir going to improve it by?
Alex took the scoop of pure Elixir and the slightly diluted Elixir before consuming it all at once. This was the amount of Elixir brought out from the depth of Hell, so he was excited to see just how much it would help him.
He didn’t expect it to be that much. After all, Whisker had been making Elixir with the same sludge for the past year and a half. However, when the improvements started showing themselves, Alex was still surprised.
He was comfortably pushed into the Immortal Transcendent 5th realm, and was pushed quite high in it too. He was more than halfway there to the Immortal Transcendent 6th realm.
If he consumed a third more than what he had consumed just now, he would definitely push through to the next realm once again.
“I’ve pushed through nearly 2 body cultivation realms in a matter of minutes,” Alex said with a dumbfounded expression. He knew how great Elixir was and yet it continued to surprise him.
“Should I go get more?” Whisker asked.
Alex thought for a moment. “Sure. Go ahead. I will stay here and cultivate for the time being. I have to check on Soul Space too in the meantime,” he said.
Whisker nodded and left.
After Whisker was gone, Alex started cultivating in order to consume those Elixirs into his body. As he did, he also questioned himself what else there was for him to do.
The most important thing was to make sure the fog wasn’t out again in his Soul Space. So, after two days, when he was sure he had recovered from his past attempt, he broke through the seal once again.
It was just as difficult as last time and just as painful. Still, Alex did it and arrived inside his Soul Space once again. He looked through the place, searching for the presence of excess Yang or the fog in any location.
From what he could see, there was none.
After contacting Pearl for a bit, he once again left them alone. Once his Spiritual sense retracted once again, the seal regrew into place.
Whisker didn’t return right away, leaving Alex with some time to focus on some other things. He still spent his time cultivating in order to absorb all the Elixir, but as he mentally recovered, it was time to attack his seal again.
Only, this time, the target was the seal around his Spiritual Sea.
Ever since the Storm God had placed the seal around his Spiritual Sea, Alex had to work with muted senses for everything from sight to smell to touch. Once he made progress on destroying this, he could finally be done with it.
Maybe then, he would have an easier time finding a way out of Hell.
So, with that thought, Alex began attacking the seal around his Spiritual Sea. The strength it needed to destroy it was the same as the seal around his Soul Space, and so was the pain it delivered.
Still, Alex stuck through it to the end, and finally heard a pop as this seal too had finally been broken into.
