Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades

Chapter 610 - 610: A Bitch, A Gigolo, And A Green Hat

The one possessing Leonora’s body raised an eyebrow, already knowing what he wanted.

“Oh?” she said lightly. “Well, I might answer… but I want something in return.”

Barbatos didn’t answer immediately. He took a breath before he spoke.

“What do you want?”

She lifted her hand and casually extended a single finger toward Nameless Death.

“I want him,” she said with a sly smile. “Or rather, I want him to bear children with my daughter.”

Silence appeared.

Nameless Death wasn’t bothered by her words.

“Daughter?” he asked.

“Blessed Ones have a unique Elemental Seeds. Since I am going to skip the boring explanation, just understand that Blessed are the children of Supreme.”

Nameless Death nodded.

Then, he simply gave Leonora’s figure a once-over, then shook his head.

“Rejected,” he said. “She’s not my type.”

The Supreme narrowed her eyes, but the smirk remained.

“Why?”

“I prefer someone mature. Not someone who was crying half the time.”

For a moment, silence returned. Then, unexpectedly, the Supreme laughed.

Instead of being insulted, she floated a step closer, hands now behind her back as she slowly circled him.

“What about me, then?” she asked.

“I guess—” Nameless Death opened his mouth, but before he could answer, Zagreus cut in.

“No,” he snapped. “You can fuck off if that’s what you’re after.”

The Supreme stopped mid-circle and turned to face him. She tilted her head slightly.

“Aren’t you afraid I might get angry if you talk to me like that?” she asked.

“You think I don’t know about your restrictions?”

Her smile remained, but her eyes grew cold.

“Hmm… I guess I forgot about those.”

She floated backward, giving herself space again.

“Still,” she added, “I wouldn’t recommend talking to the Supremes that way. They might not take it so lightly. Some of them wouldn’t stop until you were dead, The One.”

Zagreus’ eyelids twitched at the title.

He hated that title with passion, but it had stuck with him, since everyone was calling him that at his planet.

Barbatos stepped forward before Zagreus spoke again.

“I apologize, Supreme, but we cannot fulfill that request. Is there anything else you would accept instead?”

“No,” the Supreme replied. “I want him to bear my lineage. Because he’s going to create a new Path. If I can’t have that, then I don’t want anything else.”

She looked down at her own hands—Leonora’s hands—and spoke,

“Looks like time’s almost up.”

She hovered in place, clearly feeling the strain of possession. The connection was breaking. The Supreme of Water’s time in Leonora’s body was nearly over.

Still, she gave Nameless Death a sly look and winked.

“My offer stands for you too. If you ever need anything, I can make it happen. The power of Supremes isn’t as simple as you think. All you have to do is accept the deal.”

She paused, smiled again, and added,

“Actually, let me give you a freebie. You should head back quickly if you—”

“Now, now, my dear,” a new voice interrupted.

The tone was smooth yet venomous.

“Aren’t you giving them a bit too much information?”

Everyone turned.

The space behind them twisted, and crackled.

Chaos Elementals flowed together, writhing like molten shadows.

They pulled inward, folding into themselves until they formed a red silhouette.

Berserker.

His voice followed his arrival.

“Long time no see, dear,” he said. “Still as big of a bitch as you were back then, I see.”

Leonora’s possessed form turned toward him. She didn’t flinch. If anything, she looked amused.

“Haha. I see you are still hurt because I rejected you back then.”

“Rejected?” he said. “I’d rather die single than be with a bitch who brags about getting fucked by a gigolo.”

Her smile didn’t waver.

“Now, now,” she said sweetly, copying his words, knowing it ticked him off. “Are you sure you want to talk like that about him? What if he gets angry?”

The tension rose again.

Nameless Death and Zagreus noticed that the Supreme of Water was straining Leonora’s body to maintain the possession.

And she was doing it for one reason: to insult Berserker for longer.

He gave her a strange look.

Berserker, however, just chuckled.

“Let him be angry,” he said. “That coward’s been hiding for years. No way he’ll show up just for this, and….”

His aura flared.

“What makes you think he would win?”

Just because he was called Berserker didn’t mean he was not the Supreme of Void.

Berserker was just a small part of Supreme of Void, but Supreme nonetheless.

That was how the Elementals worked.

They were fragments of the Supremes. They were pieces that could act with their own will, but when they combined, they would become the Supreme.

It was cutting the cake into slices.

The slices would be Elementals, and the cake was Supreme.

Finally, Nameless Death spoke.

“Why are you here?”

The Supreme of Water—still in Leonora’s body—answered before Berserker could.

“He’s just scared I was about to reveal his plans,” she said, grinning.

Then, she floated forward again, casually wrapping her arms around Nameless Death from behind.

She leaned in close and whispered into his ear with a sultry voice.

“How about it?” she asked. “Since Berserker himself came, it proves my knowledge is useful. Accept my offer, and I’ll give it to you.”

Nameless Death frowned. His mouth didn’t move, but his thoughts were already running ahead of her words.

If the Supreme herself wants my children just to access my Path… then what does that say about what I’m creating?

It wasn’t flattery. It was a warning.

A glimpse of how dangerous his future could become.

What would I do if another Supreme demanded access? Or if a Stage 5 God came, stronger and more entitled than the last?

What if they forced him to share his Path?

No—

They would definitely force him to share his Path if it was strong.

Nameless Death looked at Zagreus. Was this why they were helping him? To make sure he shared his Path to them.

It made sense.

Zagreus was burning his future potential. Unless he got a wild card – like a new Path created by a Heavenbreaker – he would become a cripple after the demon left him.

Can I protect himself if I create a Path?

Is… creating a Path a correct choice when I am not sure I won’t be targeted?

There were no easy answers.

He did not have the power to say no if someone truly wanted to take what he was building. Not yet.

Would I be used again? Treated like a toy? Turned into a tool like I was for the past 500 years—

“Stop hesitating,” Berserker snapped.

His tone wasn’t kind. It wasn’t encouraging. But it was honest.

“You’re thinking too much”

Nameless Death turned to him.

Berserker took a step forward. His eyes held no warmth, only a brutal kind of understanding.

“A true warrior never hesitates,” he said.

It wasn’t the first time he’d said it. And likely wouldn’t be the last.

Berserker still resented Nameless Death, not because he was weak, but because he had chosen a path of respect, and chivalry.

Berserker saw as them pointless masks for a warrior.

But he hated the bitch in front of him more than any grudge he held toward Nameless Death. At least Nameless Death was still a warrior, even if not a bloodthirsty and violent one.

That was why he kept talking.

“You think you’re strong now because of that Darkness and that copy ability of yours,” Berserker said. “But they’re nothing in front of true power. If someone strong comes, they can crush you before you can make use of your Darkness and copy ability.”

He pointed toward the Supreme.

“You are afraid of bitches like her? But do you know something?

“They are more afraid of you.”

Nameless Death didn’t reply, but his frown deepened.

Berserker noticed the twitching eyebrows of the Supreme of Water, and grinned.

“The moment your Path is completed,” he continued, “you’ll finally start to grow at a pace that’s worthy of the title Heavenbreaker.”

He looked Nameless Death in the eye.

“You want to be strong enough that no one can force you to do anything you don’t want to? Then stop hesitating and build your Path.”

He glanced toward the Supreme again.

“And judging from her expression, your Path might already be something that could surpass the ones created before.”

He grinned, noticing her reaction.

Suddenly, the Supreme of Water smiled.

“Look at you supporting him like he is your child. Are you going to act as if you didn’t just do something that can crush him – all of them here – completely.”

While everyone was listening to her Zagreus’ expression changed suddenly.

Hearing everything and piecing the clues together, he realized what Berserker had done.

“We need to return now!” he shouted with urgency, and snapped his head towards Barbatos. “Use your ability! Quick!”

“Prince, what is happening—”

“He is targeting mother’s soul!”
