“What’s so special about Universe Creation Era?” the demon asked, frowning.
“■”
Zagreus, and Asmodea flinched unable to hear the words. Leonora almost died if not for Asmodea protecting herself.
Just like beings and planets, even ‘information’ had existence level.
After all, Nameless Death could recreate anything as long as he had its ‘information’. It simpler terms, one’s existence was made from the information about them.
Unless you were strong, hearing a high-level information could cripple, or potentially kill you.
Nameless Death was gasping for breath.
He had been hurt by the level of information too.
But unlike others, he was able to hear the content.
‘What did he mean by that?’
The shadowy being had said: This time, it was special.
Nothing about his words made sense. Not knowing his thoughts, the demon and the shadowy being continued,
“You must’ve noticed this time there are a lot of ■ (Ashborns). It’s because of what happened during the Universe Creation Era.”
“Huh?” the demon frowned, realizing there was a lot of information it was unaware of.
“We will take about it later. Your friends cannot stand more talk of ours.” The shadowy being waved his hand in dismissal. “Come meet me when you’re done with your current contract. We can talk then.”
The demon nodded.
Finally, the shadowy being looked at the others.
“I apologize for ignoring you, challengers, but now, let us proceed with the trial. You—”
“Why the fuck should we listen to you?” Zagreus interrupted. He was healing the damage done to him while he glared at the shadowy being.
“Hahaha, it’s simple,” the shadow being said. “Because if you don’t take the trial, it will be counted as a failed trial, and I will kill you.”
Zagreus frowned.
He already understood that fighting such the shadowy being was useless.
What he didn’t understand was why was something like this on Voraka Site.
“So, we have to take the trial?” Nameless Death asked.
“Yes. As soon as you entered the inner jungle, you had ‘accepted’ the trial. Now, as long as you don’t complete the trail, fail it, or spread any information about it before clearing it, I will have to involve myself.”
Nameless Death frowned.
“Is this why no one from Alliance or any other faction is trying to take resources from here?” Nameless Death asked. “You killed them all because they failed the trial, and you didn’t let the information spread?”
“Indeed.”
His words made the atmosphere tense.
“What’s the trial?”
“Enter the Sacred Gate and return,” he said as he pointed at the white hole.
“Is this guy fucking kidding us?” Zagreus spat. “That’s a fucking White Hole. It’s not even supposed to exist. How the fuck is someone supposed to enter it.”
A white hole was the exact opposite of a black whole.
While a black hole sucked everything, the white hole spewed out everything.
One could never escape a gravitational field of a black hole if caught by it, and once something came out of white hole it could never enter back into it.
Zagreus and others were Demigods, Angels, and Gods. They could bend natural laws.
But even for them, bending a natural phenomenon on the scale of black hole was night impossible, let alone white hole which shouldn’t even exist.
“How many people failed at this stage of the test?” Nameless Death asked.
He already assigned stages to the test.
First Stage: Enter the White Hole. This was the first test.
Second Stage: Complete the trial inside and return safely. This was the second and the final test.
“Everyone failed at this stage— Oh, I apologize, it seems my memory is failing me. There was one person who completed the first stage. He was also the only person to complete the second stage too.”
“And who was that?” Nameless Death asked.
“Ultris, the First Heavenbreaker.”
Everyone looked at Nameless Death. The most special thing about Ultris was the fact he was a Heavenbreaker, and the originator of Traits.
Looking at it from this angel, there was a slight possibility Nameless Death could enter the white hole (Sacred Gate) since he was a Heavenbreaker.
“Go ahead and try it,” Zagreus said with a frown. He stood with his arms crossed, and muttered, “Not like we have another choice.”
Nameless Death nodded.
He stepped towards the White Hole.
It was gigantic and its base floated a two and a half meter above the ground.
Waves of energy rolled out from the White Hole.
Everything was absorbing the White Hole’s energy, and thus being pushed back along.
However, the energy was being sliced by Nameless Death’s body as if he was a sword that the energy could not touch and push back.
‘I’m a Heavenbreaker, so I have no limits, and I don’t need this energy. I can reject it if I don’t want to absorb it.’
Nameless Death was a bit surprised by the ease with which he was walking forward. He was sure if anyone other than him approached the White Hole, they would be ripped apart and thrown back.
Finally, he reached directly beneath the White Hole.
He stared at the shadowy being for a few moments, who was standing near him. He had enough strength to stand near White Hole despite the repulsion.
‘I can’t even guess how strong he is.’
Frowning, Nameless Death turned back to the White Hole.
He raised his hand and touched it.
A jarring sensation snapped through him.
His surroundings changed in an instant, and he was no floating in a dark abyss.
Far below, he saw a sea of white flames.
‘The energy being expunged by the White Hole is the similar to those flames.’
He floated towards the sea as he looked around.
‘Am I inside the White Hole right now?’
“Not really,” a voice answered him. He snapped his head towards the source of it, and saw a woman.
A human woman.
She curtsied.
“It’s my pleasure to finally meet you, Neo— Nameless Death.”
“Who are you?” Nameless Death became alert upon realizing she knew his name.
