Inside the private room, Jason Nicholson felt the tense situation. If he left right now, he might bump into the Wizard from the Black Tower.

So he decided to wait here for some time. But upon seeing Vincent Carey, his anger flared up. Earlier, the new member had mocked him.

Now he had the opportunity to strike back.

“Vincent, you can leave and wait for me at the mall lobby. I have something important to discuss with the Auction House Manager,” Jason said.

Hearing that, I frowned. I felt something was wrong. But I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was. Then I thought it was better to wait in the lobby.

If I stuck around, he would continue to come up with plans to trick me. This arrogant man had his thoughts written on his face. He didn’t even know that he was exposed.

“Okay,” I replied before exiting the room.

Then I started walking back toward the auction house exit.

Creak!

“Damn you, Denise,” Dan Lane cursed as he exited the private room.

His men, who followed him, stayed a little distance back. They could feel the pressure from their master.

Dan Lane knew that Denise had yet to leave the 2nd private room. So he decided to confront her. In a bad mood, he continued to walk.

People watching from a distance were quite scared. They didn’t want to be near him.

Suddenly, they saw a person walking toward the exit before Dan Lane. Their expressions changed drastically. Dan Lane was in a bad mood. He might attack this person.

They couldn’t recognize the individual. They didn’t know whether he had any background or not. After hearing the commotion, Jason stepped out as well.

Upon seeing that the newcomer was hindering the Black Tower guy, he cracked a wide grin. He thought he wouldn’t have a chance to teach him a lesson, but this one was perfect.

Even Manager Lara couldn’t find any fault in him regarding this matter.

“He… He… He…, the newcomer is going to offend the Black Tower member,” he said with a joyful laugh.

[Ding! Killing intentions detected.]

[The attacker is coming behind the host.]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I felt goosebumps all over my body.

“Is that arrogant guy?” I thought.

When I turned around, I saw a white-haired middle-aged man standing in front of me.

Dan Lane was already pissed off. Seeing someone blocking his path, he didn’t have second thoughts before raising his right leg to kick.

“Ant, you dared to block my path!”

Boom!

I saw the middle-aged man’s leg flash before it kicked me away. The next second, I was sent flying back, crashing into the wall.

The wall broke because of the impact. Then I slowly fell to the ground with a system warning ringing in my mind.

“Harumph,” Dan snorted, satisfied by the scene.

He then walked up to the 2nd room.

Gasp!

The people who were watching in secret were scared sh*t. A kick from the Level-9 Wizard, and they didn’t know if the person had survived or not.

“Ha… Ha… Ha….!”

“He deserves it. He’s going to be bedridden now,” Jason said to himself with a laugh.

He didn’t plan on rescuing him right away. The Black Tower member was still there. Jason was scared of him. If someone helped the newcomer get up, it could piss him off.

So he stayed back. Not only Jason, but others who had the idea of helping also stopped their actions. Until the Level-9 Wizard left the place, they couldn’t do anything.

Creak!

The 2nd private room opened.

A beautiful woman wearing a red dress stepped out. She had long silky black hair and stunning eyes. Her skin tone was fair. Her body and face were beautiful.

Anyone would be captivated by her appearance. But people who knew her identity had fear in their eyes.

For example, the white-haired middle-aged man, Dan Lane, had a flash of fear in his eyes for a moment.

He knew her infamous name.

“Flower Maiden,” he uttered.

Normally, the flower represents beauty. But here, she could take away lives with her floral presence.

Denise Marshall frowned upon seeing Dan Lane.

“Are all your Black Tower guys insane?”

“I bought the last auction item. If you cause a problem, I don’t mind teaching you a lesson,” Denise said in an icy tone.

“You…,” Dan Lane lost his voice.

Arguably, he couldn’t win against her. He couldn’t even use the Black Tower name to intimidate her because she was from the Red Tower.

She then gave him a cold glare before walking out of the room. When she left the auction house, no one dared to breathe.

Because Dan Lane was still fuming with anger. If someone hindered him right now, he might kick the person to death.

Gasp!

Many of them swallowed their saliva in fear. Because the beautiful woman had revealed his identity, it was known to everyone that the Black Tower Faction of the Mage Union was an Evil Wizard Faction.

They were now more scared of the white-haired middle-aged man.

Dan Lane was gritting his teeth in anger. No one was near him to vent his frustration, so he left the place as well.

Gasp!

Only after his departure did people gasp for breath. Some of them turned toward the guy who had been attacked earlier. The auction house staff rushed toward him to see whether he was alive or not.

Jason Nicholson decided to check the condition of the newcomer as well. Otherwise, people would suspect him.

Meanwhile,

[Ding! Host’s internal organs were severely injured.]

[Severe internal bleeding!]

[Immediate treatment is required!]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. I was feeling heart-wrenching pain. Someone had attacked me, and no one bothered to check on me.

Especially that arrogant guy. I’ll remember him and the white-haired middle-aged man who kicked me and caused this internal injury.

If not for the location, I would have used Gregor Mansion directly. Right now, I could only seek their help.
