Everyone here was on another level and Ella realized she was not only underdressed but this place was something she wouldn’t have been able to afford in a million years with her previous salary.

But that had changed with her recent payout and she was glad that she could or she would have been self-conscious the moment she stepped into this place.

She might be underdressed but it didn’t mean it was out of her price range.

Jane’s eyes descended upon Ella for the first time and she couldn’t believe she was even prettier in person than in those doctored pictures online.

But Calista was drawn in right away by Jane’s blue eyes; however, the sundress she wore wasn’t anything impressive but it helped bring out her petite frame.

This was an example of how expensive things didn’t necessarily guarantee it would look good on you otherwise this sundress had no reason to look this alluring on Jane.

“Hello, Calista!” Ella began the conversation prompting Calista to get on her feet to hug her ‘friend’, it was a firm hug and Jane stood there awkwardly.

“Ella! I’m so glad you could make it,” Calista said before breaking away from the hug to give Jane some of that attention.

“Are you going to introduce me to your cute friend?” Calista snuck in a compliment and this was a very good first impression because Jane flushed almost immediately.

There was something about when a pretty woman complimented you, it hit you differently than when a man did the same.

Of course, Kyle was the exception in this case as Jane was head over heels in love with him. But regardless, this compliment made her gush and it had nothing to do with her sexual orientation either.

“This is Jane, my friend who became a sister,” Ella said with a wide smile but Calista walked towards her.

“Jane! Oh my God! I have heard so much about you,” Calista said, grabbing her hand in hers.

“M-Me too!” Jane stuttered, clearly surprised by this reaction but felt even more intimidated by the younger lady in front of her.

“She is beautiful…” Both ladies thought in unison.
