Jane was far too innocent to detect manipulative behaviour that others would have otherwise picked up on due to the simple fact that Jane thought everyone had the same kind heart as her.

“So Kyle is the owner of the club,” Jane said and Ella thought she was going to be mad because he kept this away from her.

She wanted to explain the situation on Kyle’s behalf but Jane’s facial expression said otherwise.

“Amazing, isn’t it? Kyle is so amazing!” Jane boasted and Ella realized that she didn’t take him not telling her personally.

Ella could tell her that she was aware but chose to keep it to herself because there was no telling how she would react.

Jane was becoming more unpredictable since meeting Kyle but this was the first time she had seen her friend truly in love.
