World Chat:
“Someone actually cleared Velorith’s trial! Why is this announcement only popping up now?”
“No wait, it says two players passed. Then why was it Godslayer’s Money Traveler who got the class awakening?”
“This is such BS! That dragon king is broken, literally insane!”
…
Across the battlefield, players locked in bloody combat could only stare at the distant sky with bloodshot eyes as a colossal lightning dragon descended.
The Lightning Dragon King—a beast renowned for sheer combat prowess—had just switched sides.
“No way… he actually did it!” Orson’s heart shook.
Madman: “Dude must’ve stepped in some divine dog shit. Straight to Dragon King mount, plus exclusive skills? That’s just unfair.”
From the distant skyline, six massive dragons approached, regal auras sweeping across the sky.
Velorith soared at the front, crackling with electric power, carrying Bradley and Ruby on his back.
Madman and Drunken Dream followed close behind on their own dragons, while the remaining three Lightning Dragons had been summoned by Velorith to join the fight.
“We’re still bros, right? Demon Emperor?” Bradley called over his shoulder with a goofy grin.
The dragon beside him was majestic, brimming with kingly might—its combat class at the very peak of Saint Lord-Class, exuding a similar presence to Velorith.
Demon Emperor sat silently atop it, a complex look in his eyes as he stared at Bradley’s pretty-boy face. “You tell me, Elemental Dragon Warrior.”
Bradley scratched his head, wanting to explain himself, but couldn’t find the words.
Just minutes earlier in Riftrock City, a hundred elite knights and warriors had taken part in Velorith’s trial.
Most failed during the initial phase of surviving Velorith’s assault. Only a handful—including Bradley, Ruby, and Demon Emperor—passed the first test.
But the key challenge was next: deal 20 million damage to Velorith.
Velorith transformed into a humanoid avatar and fought back with terrifying ferocity. Even Ruby, armed with two Epic Soul Seals and an S-rank hidden class, lasted less than five seconds before being brutally crushed.
As all hope seemed lost, Bradley and Demon Emperor stepped forward.
Bradley went all-in with perfect concentration. His skill Fleeting Eternity never dropped once, and despite being bloodied to near-death, his chained aerial combos with Light-Dark Arcanum forced Velorith to shed his dragon form.
Demon Emperor went full beast mode—activating Primordial Titans, absorbing Velorith’s damage and transforming into a ten-million-HP titan giant. He too passed the trial.
With both warriors completing the trial, Velorith found herself in an awkward spot.
A dragon that once scoffed at humanity as weak had now met two viable candidates… and had to choose.
Naturally, she declared Lightning Dragons preferred beauty and strength in equal measure—and that only one of them met both standards.
Bradley, who had based his character’s appearance on his real face, was chosen.
Demon Emperor’s ego shattered on the spot.
Never in his wildest dreams did he expect to lose a Dragon King mount because his avatar wasn’t pretty enough.
Still, Velorith offered him a generous consolation—high-grade gear, rare jewelry blueprints, and several treasure chests. More importantly, a Level 90 Lightning Dragon named Labubuli offered him a partnership.
The two formed a peer contract, a rare honor.
Who was the stronger warrior—Bradley or Demon Emperor? The Infinite Dimensions forums had argued for ages.
But today, the answer was clear.
Not because they fought, but because Bradley’s mount was the Lightning Dragon King.
And Demon Emperor’s? A female dragon… who happened to be Velorith’s daughter.
Yeah.
That made Demon Emperor Bradley’s son-in-law—a title no amount of stat grinding could erase.
Up above, the Imperial Marshal looked toward the heavens, face pale. “The Lightning Dragon King… and Quarla too?!”
“Velorith, you traitorous beast!” the Purple-Gold Duke roared, charging forward on his purple-gold dragon.
“You’re the ones who betrayed me, you pathetic relics,” Velorith replied coldly.
Her dragon breath burst forth like a storm, forcing the Duke to swerve away in panic.
Even with the Empire’s many powerhouses, the raw might of upper-tier dragons was overwhelming.
This newly joined force of adventurers could tip the balance.
Then—
A rumble echoed from the horizon.
Dust billowed skyward as 400,000 Imperial NPCs charged forward.
300,000 elite troops of The Golden House!
100,000 wolf cavalry atop war beasts!
“Don’t worry—we’ve got backup too!”
Imperial Marshal Hugh Jackman’s eyes lit up with shock and joy.
“How are they even here?”
Above Forever City, the Archangel battling Darkbo looked genuinely confused.
According to plan, that army was meant to lock down the Riftrock front. They couldn’t possibly have finished off a million adventurers so quickly—unless they’d crushed the resistance.
“You helped me realize the dream of a united Empire. I, Ninelra, will repay that debt tenfold!”
A strong, clear voice rang out.
From a mountain ridge to the northwest, thousands of hulking centaur archers emerged, hoisting their massive crossbows.
They were from the Half-Orc Empire.
And leading them—Queen Ninelra herself.
“Our alliance with Godslayer is known to the sun and moon of Infinite Dimensions!”
A lion-headed Domain Master roared, raising his arm high.
All the half-orcs shouted in unison, “Long live the Queen! Long live Orgod!”
“God, I missed you centaur girls!” a Godslayer player yelled from below, eyes gleaming.
Many players had formed deep bonds with the half-orcs during the Dark Dragon Empire campaign. The reunion stirred emotions on both sides.
“Getting nervous yet?” Orson smiled faintly at the shifting expression on the Archangel’s face.
Jenonis: “You’re clever, I’ll give you that. But these inferior creatures pose no threat to me.”
“Oh? Then let’s keep going.”
Orson’s smile turned sharp. His voice dropped to a thunderous tone.
“I am Orgod, the eternal god in your hearts! I call upon you now—answer the call to war!”
As he spoke, black space rifts tore open across the sky.
Warriors on beasts, aboard warships, through ancient portals—an army from another world began to arrive.
They came in answer to the god of mortals.
A primal, ear-splitting roar shook the heavens.
An eight-headed serpent-like Vilitian creature burst forth from the rift.
Standing atop its heads, a woman’s graceful silhouette stood still.
She smiled calmly. “Let the enemies of the undefeated US Sorcerer taste agony.”
Then her voice snapped to madness:
“Yamata no Orochi! Tear them all to pieces!”
Naoko.
SS-rank Kingdom Summoner.
Undisputed ruler of the UJ region.
A single call from Orgod… had summoned not only her, but all three major guilds of UJ—and their elite forces.
For Orgod—their former public enemy number one.
It defied all logic.
