MMORPG: RISE OF THE PRIMORDIAL GODSMITH

Chapter 1360 - 1360: An Interesting Conversation

“Nascent Rebirth Elixir…”

Muttering out the name of the elixir Mystia said to him, the gears in Valyr’s mind began to turn as he tried to recall what kind of effects such an elixir had.

Yet, no matter how much he mulled over it, the young man could not find any information on it in his treasure trove of memories whatsoever.

However, that did not mean he didn’t have a way to obtain more information on it.

“I’ve… heard Teacher mention something about a Nascent Rebirth Pill in the past,” said the young man, once more putting his other self on a pedestal as he spoke. “Is that similar to the elixir you mentioned, Miss Mystia?”

“They’re connected to one another, but their effects are vastly different from one another,” replied Mystia, slightly surprised that the player Valyr took fancy to would know about such a pill.

“You can consider the Nascent Rebirth Pill as an inferior version of the True Rebirth Pill that’s in front of you.”

“Since you’ve already consumed the latter, then I’m sure you already know how many points the True Rebirth Pill gives to each stat. Just subtract that number by 30 and you’ll pretty much have the effects of the Nascent Rebirth Pill.”

Valyr nodded at those words, her explanation lining up with what he could remember from the auction back then.

“On the other hand, the Nascent Rebirth Elixir’s effects is more similar to the Mana Essence Fruit your teacher gave you,” she continued, which unsurprisingly caused the young man to raise his eyebrow in curiosity.

“In terms of which of the two is better, then I’d say the Nascent Rebirth Elixir is far better.”

“Not only does it increase your stats to a certain degree, but it also increases your affinity with the elements and other concepts.”

“However, the most important reason why I say the Nascent Rebirth Elixir is far better than the Mana Essence Fruit is because the elixir…”

“…Allows you to convert your mana into a far purer form!”

“Hmm?” Hearing those words, Valyr decided to pay more attention to Mystia, taking the opportunity to ask her a question for clarification. “By a far purer form of mana, are you perhaps talking about just purer mana, Miss Mystia?”

“Or are you perhaps talking about the higher form of mana, Arcana?”

“Hehe.” Seeing as the young man in front of her took so much interest in the elixir, Mystia began to grin. “What if I told you…”

“It was actually a mix of both?”

Bang!

Feeling as if he’d been punched right in the face by Mystia’s words, Valyr took quite some time to snap back to reality as he wondered whether the words he heard were just a hallucination of his.

Though, once he confirmed that he had indeed heard her earlier words correctly, it was no surprise that the young man accepted the task Mystia had for him.

After all, why would he pass up on the opportunity to transform his mana into Arcana?

Especially when it meant he could avoid the long and treacherous journey to the territory of the elves?

“Though I’ll be able to give you four of these items right now, you’ll unfortunately have to wait for the Nascent Rebirth Elixir for a couple more days.”

After the two cleared up the confusion around the task Mystia specifically wanted Valyr to do, the former gave the latter a heads-up regarding one of his rewards.

“Is there an issue, Miss Mystia?” asked Valyr, keeping the four other items in his spatial bracelet for the meantime.

“Well, I’m still missing a few of the core materials needed to make the elixir,” said Mystia with a slightly apologetic smile. “However, you don’t have to worry about that. I have multiple ways of getting my hands on them.”

“Once I do get my hands on them, I’ll update you and bring you to the Meltierre Heavenly Court.” At those words, Mystia went ahead and sent Valyr a friend request, which the latter promptly accepted.

After making sure that the two of them could exchange messages through the system’s chat feature, Mystia looked at the young man for a bit before eventually asking the question that came to her mind.

“Though our conversation is already done for the meantime, I have one request to ask of you, Ataraxia.”

“As long as I can do it, Miss Mystia, ask away.” Valyr nodded, looking back at her with a determined expression.

“It’s nothing that difficult, don’t worry,” replied the woman as she let out a chuckle. “But I was just wondering…”

“Since you’re Valyr’s student, do you have a way to contact him and have him come here?”

“…Eh?” uttered the young man in return, her request briefly leaving him at a loss for words.

“Er…” After taking a bit of time to ponder over her request, he then let out a slightly wry chuckle as he scratched the back of his head. “I do have a way, but I don’t know if Teacher will respond.”

“Tell him that I’ll give him something he’ll need for the future if he comes here,” replied Mystia, which inwardly made Valyr widen his eyes in disbelief. “Of course, if he’s busy, then there’s no need to bother.”

“…I’ll see what I can do,” said the young man in response, his expression determined as he brought up the system’s chat feature.

Then, turning up the dial on his acting to 11, he then went ahead and made it look like he was talking to his other self through the system, making sure that the woman in front of him wouldn’t find anything amiss during the process.

“…Teacher said he’ll get here as soon as possible.” Closing the screen after a few minutes of faux chatting, Valyr looked at Mystia with a slightly relieved smile. “Fortunately, he’s also in the city so it won’t take him too long to come here.”

“Is that so?” Mystia smiled at those words. “If that’s the case, then let him know that I’m waiting here.”

“Understood.” Taking that as his sign to leave the room, Valyr went ahead and excused himself as he made his way to a more secluded part of the coliseum.

Then, making sure that he had more than enough time to remain in his other identity in case of emergency, the young man took in a deep breath before activating one of his special skills.

“[Soul Shift].”
