The first monsters when the word honourable comes to mind are orcs. They always had the connotation of the warrior’s code and that was what Jin was about to concentrate on to get the Dungeon out. However, for now, his priority was not the creation of such dungeons but to connect the first isolation barrier alongside the second one.
At first, he thought of expansion but in order to merge the two barriers together, he had first to destroy the initial isolation barrier which would not be feasible because of the operation that he had done to surround the demons around the entirety of Ress.
So, the only other way to do so was to create a teleport gate between isolation barrier one and isolation barrier two. But the use of such a teleport gate needs a gate to be constructed on both sides first before consumption is allowed. That was what the Kingdom of Ress could not do because there were no materials on the second isolation barrier.
Surely, the Rifle Mages, the tanks, and the supply trucks can return to the first isolation barrier without much trouble considering they have the firepower to do so but that does not mean they can do that on a daily basis to escort workers safely to the second isolation barrier to do things. Still, there was actually a way to do so and that was where Jin comes in and also the reason why he did not immediately commence the creation of a dungeon to find new allies.
The use of summoning dungeon portals to connect from one isolation barrier to the next isolation barrier. When the Rifle Mages first saw the dungeon portal, all of them including the Commando Mages felt a slight pang of nostalgia going through them.
It was the very same rolling grass fields that every single Mage had gone through to keep themselves sane in the course of training. And with the hard earned victory they had fought for, the sight of those rolling grass fields was more than a welcome sight. It was the sign of peace and calm they had in their hearts.
"What are you guys waiting for? Faster go through the Grass Fields and come out to get your dinner!" Jin shouted and everyone started to move on the double to go through the portal with some elation in their hearts. The supply trucks followed behind as they carried the remaining supplies as well as the injured or severely exhausted Rifle Mages with them.
With this fight, one could conclude that Ress had finally dealt a blow against the Demons and had gotten some land back.
The work they had put in was not in vain and as the mages returned to the Ress’ Isolation barrier, they could see that citizens in the northern village were within the vicinity cheering for their return.Even though the military police and guards had stopped them from coming close to the headquarters, they stood at the borders of the military headquarters and watched from afar with the magic eyes that had been provided within the military headquarters. It was only when the crowd got way too big, that Jin had decided to enlarge the magic eye for them to watch.
After all, those were the Rifle Mages families praying and hoping that nothing happened to their kids or relatives. And when they saw the series of fireworks against the Demonic Rock Giant, they were cheered as hard as possible for them in hopes that their hopes were able to get through them.
And as they saw the Demonic Rock Giant killed, there was a sigh of relief from each citizen as well as cries of joy.
Such emotions were further intensified as the dungeon portal opened right in front of them and Rifle Mages were seen flying out of the ’portal tunnel’ The citizens cheered and clapped once more to celebrate their first victory. In a way, this was similar to a victory march back home and the Mages could never be ever prouder than before.
At first, what Jin told the Kingdom of Ress felt like it was just a mere empty promise. However, with the recent changes that he had made and the revelation of the Commando Mages that had been broadcast to show their capabilities, the citizens had decided to give the king’s promise a try.
The last few months of hard work were tough on the Rifle Mages as well as the whole of Ress as their king forced them to work hard to get things moving so that it would come naturally as clockwork. The productivity was high but there was no denying that there was a little flutter in their hearts on whether it was meaningful or not.
But whether it was meaningful or not was honestly never part of the equation as people needed to work to ensure they could put meat on the table. And with the promise to be able to recapture the land back to develop agriculture, this first ever victory flyover had shown that the kingdom of Ress was indeed capable of producing results they never had thought they could.
At this point, pots and plates were clanking between each other noisily and it was the sound of dinner. However, all of the Rifle Mage Team Leaders requested that they do a quick flyover to the capital and back to show that they were victorious.
Gara looked at Jin and he did not mind at all, giving them permission to do so. Kraft on the other hand was already eating with the Star Foxes watching the public’s military to do such a petty act. Because to the Star Foxes, the positive reinforcement that they needed was only from two people. The King and his Royal Advisor.
As long as those two who had been considered as the strongest duo in Ress, were satisfied with their performance in the operation, the Star Foxes did not mind staying at the sidelines. It would be a long night of celebration but Jin also believed that everyone had at least earned the night’s rest before they started slogging for the kingdom once more.
