"So, you are saying that you want to activate this Bamboo God of theirs to aid us in the fight? Have you forgotten that we are ultimately fighting Celestials? These gods cannot be trusted at all." Kraft remarked as he found the direction that Jin wanted to move towards was totally unreliable.
"Then what else can you think of? If the Dune Shell Orcs and subsequently whatever Elite Orcs come by. Do you think we can win through sheer power? This was the first time my dungeon portal summoning had gone out of plan.
There is no way we have the capability to win such numbers unless we invoke the aid of such gods or we pull out those toys that we had been keeping for the demons in our world instead." Jin rebutted.
"Sigh. And those toys we did put in quite a fair bit of effort to get them." Kraft said as he knew that those gadgets that they had kept for the future of Ress were somewhat on the expensive side. To use them for a dungeon portal would be tremendously heart wrenching when it comes to the cost. Your next read awaits at
"Well, alternative, you can just shove them the portal to the kingdoms around Ress. The outbreak will kill them and we can at least have one less opponent to worry about. Not to mention, the Star Foxes had been saying that the South East portion might be dwelling with their own demons as well." Kraft commented as he knew that Jin made a little sense of this fucked up situation.
"To invoke the help of the Bamboo God is not an easy task. He is not like a demon where blood offerings would allow them to appear right in front of us." Elder Bai had decided to chip in.
"Right, but then someone from the Pandarian Village has to sacrifice themselves instead because it’s a believer kind of system that the Bamboo God was part of." Jin blabbered as he felt that he read enough books on religion to think in such a way.
"Unfortunately, that’s the case." Elder Bai replied and that was when Mr Hammer suddenly chimed in.
"What if we can improvise smith the altar and get the Bamboo God to give us his blessings instead? I mean, there’s technically a shit ton of bamboo around. And if he is the Bamboo God, why aren’t he taking in bamboo instead?" Mr Hammer asked and the Pandarians were speechless for a moment.
"That sounds rather plausible." Kraft nodded his head, thinking that was not a bad idea after all."Otherwise, the other way is to pour in a shit load of your magical powers. I have no idea why but Jin is a beast when it comes to consistent output. But put him in a battle, his outburst of output is just pathetically unsustainable. I do not know why. However, I might say that after so many weeks of smithing, his burst output seemed to stabilise a little.
I mean, judging from his fight previously, he would have been a dead fish on the ground for summoning all those icicles and isolation barriers." Mr Hammer said and Jin never realised that at all while this gave Kraft something to ponder.
"When I come to think of it, that’s actually quite true. Perhaps, the use of his magic and chi circuits concurrently might put a strain on the body. After all, I did convert my magic circuits for chi used and I did feel a strain when I first started it out.
So I am guessing that when he uses both of them, they do actually clash with one another especially when dispensing huge amounts at the same time." Kraft digressed a little and decided to give way for Mr Hammer to try his method.
"I have no qualms with improvise smithing and testing it out. Perhaps, the consistent output of Magic and chi might satiate the Bamboo God, allowing him to grant some boon to us all rather than the stupid sacrifice which Jin obviously abhors." Kraft shrugged and decided to give way.
"I have enough of your insults! If it is not for Jin, we would have cut you down right here right now. How dare you keep insisting that the things we do for our god is stupid?" Captain Hei shouted as he banged the table.
"Chill your fur down. You are overexaggerating a little more than you should." Kraft did not care about Captain Hei’s tantrum. "Even the Captain Hei in Jin’s world is not as eccentric as you"
"Captain Hei? His World?" Elder Bai furrowed his eyebrows a little.
"Don’t mind him. He is just sprouting unnecessary stuff." Jin sighed trying to calm the Elder to ignore the babbling mouth of a Devil Fox.
"I insist." Elder Bai immediately put his hand up and with a movement of the palm, he was able to send a mind search technique into Jin. He could have ignore the mind search technique as Jin believed he had sufficient resistance against it but he decided to let Elder Bai do his job. ṘАꞐȫ₿Ëś
"What are all of these..." Elder Bai nearly had a recoil after performing the mind search technique and realised that Jin was not an ordinary being after all. All those titles that he sprouted were practically some sort of resume. He was not lying at all.
"What did you do to-" Captain Hei was about to defend Bai but the Elder refrained him from doing anything harsh.
"He will be more than willing to help us. As that despicable friend of his had said, Jin had a soft spot for us. Let’s give him the trust to give it a try. I am sure the Bamboo God would not want his followers to die in vain just to protect a singular altar of his." Elder Bai said and Jin bowed a little and thanked him for his trust.
"So, your decision?" Kraft asked Jin for confirmation.
"Let the Star Foxes rampage but give out the order to not die. To return and provide information to us if needed but most importantly, they have to survive. Or else, I will curse their soul to damnation such that they can never rest."
"Do you even have the capability to do just that?" Kraft laughed.
"I will need your help for that then." Jin chuckled. "Get some tanks from Ress as well after the resupply and I will proceed to improvise smith the Bamboo God Altar. Who knows what we can get from helping this Bamboo God. Other than that, I will try to convince Elder Bai to send their civilians to Ress.
At the very least, some Pandarians have to survive, right?" Jin replied and Kraft got the gist of the plan that Jin had.
"Captain Hei, listen to Jin on this and get the civilians to pack. The guards or those who are willing to fight to stay back. For the rest, the survival of the clan is up to them to continue our lines if we fail." Elder Bai said and Hei begrudgingly nodded his head, not knowing half the things that Elder knew after performing the mind search technique.
Hei nodded his head with a sigh and proceeded to do what needed to be done. Too bad, this was a plan that depended on the consequences of their actions but this was the least they could do when they are running out of time.
