Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 545 - 545: Let Them Go [Bonus]The moment Tribe Chief Calthar dropped dead, the alliance was broken.
“The chief is dead, run.”
Without any hesitation, the soldiers still alive decided to run for their dear lives. The fact that they lost even before the battle began was clear as day to them, so they did not need a second opinion from anyone to tell them they were fucked.
Kent turned and looked in the direction where Tribe Chief Malthar was facing the tribe chief of the Dreadclaw tribe.
“Looks like they indeed are the strongest. I’d better make them even stronger now so they can help me in the future,” Kent said, watching as the silver panther was now bathed in red.
Kent couldn’t help shaking his head.
He turned toward the direction of Elder Farra and saw that the old woman had her whip around the neck of her opponent. With a quick pull, his head came off, landing on the floor with a thud.
Then something unique happened.
The whip jumped into the severed neck, and all the blood from the body of her opponent was sucked into the whip. Kent immediately appraised the whip, and what he saw made him question where she got the weapon.
⟦Name: Blood Eater Whip⟧
⟦Grade: Legendary⟧
⟦Quality: SS Rank⟧
⟦Abilities: 2 Active | 3 Passive⟧
⟦Description: An ordinary whip that can be nurtured using the blood of those it slays. The more blood it drinks, the more powerful it becomes. Feeding it the blood of those stronger can evolve both the grade and quality.⟧
“I think Sylara is going to like this lady.” With a smile, Kent turned to Elder Ureth, who had also ended his battle, but his body was littered with wounds—some shallow, some deep.
He was a brute who faced off against a weapon refiner who could use his mind to control the weapon and maintain his distance. It was only natural that he struggled to defeat him.
But the endgame justifies the means, so he won and was now absorbing the blood of the one he killed. Elder Zarka was also the same, considering that the enemy was already running when they ended their battles.
They were not needed, and in battle, it is best if the strongest do not rush into everything immediately. Nobody knew where a surprise was hiding or when it would appear, so they stayed back.
General Xant and Velyra were doing all the killing. She had already ended her battle in under five minutes, so she was currently slaughtering the Root Sovereigns who held no candle to her.
In fact, the Bloodvein were showing great prowess that made Kent wonder if they really needed his help.
However, remembering he ended most of the Core Formation experts and even removed the danger from the board, he knew they were impressive, but not on the level of his legion.
After a while, Tribe Chief Malthar managed to bring down his opponent, who turned back to his demi-human form and looked at Tribe Chief Malthar with a fearful gaze.
“Don’t do this, Malthar. We’ve known each other for close to a thousand years. Don’t do this,” Tribe Chief Rokar cried out, but looking into the three red eyes watching him, he knew his cry wasn’t doing anything.
“It’s because we’ve known each other for so long that I won’t be slaughtering your entire tribe. However, you will die today.” Tribe Chief Malthar raised his axe and looked coldly at him.
“You will regret this, Malthar. In a week, you will know who you’ve offended.” In his desperate cry, he gave the tribe chief a timeframe.
“See you on the other side, Rokar.” With that, his head came off clean.
“I will take the body, thank you,” Kent appeared in the air above and said to Tribe Chief Malthar.
“Go ahead.” He didn’t even bother to ask what he wanted it for. Kent sent the body and head into his Necro Forge.
He then turned to the rest of the Core Formation dead bodies, but they had been drained, so he let them be.
“What are you going to do? Will you chase after them?” Kent asked, watching the thousands of alliance soldiers running.
“No. We’ll let them go,” Tribe Chief Malthar said. “We have already killed the main culprits, and it’s not like we can take over their domain.
Also, we have lost ours, and per his last words, the one responsible will be coming in a week’s time. That is already a reason to prepare fast and leave.”
“Does that mean you have accepted my offer?” Kent asked.
“Yes. However, if it turns out to be a lie, then pardon my words, but we will not hesitate to use every means to bring you down.”
Kent smiled, hearing him. He didn’t want to tell them, but if he were allowed to bring his legion, the Bloodvein tribe wouldn’t have lifted even a single finger.
But they can have their moment now, and perhaps, if it makes them feel better, they can brag and say they could bring him down.
After the last alliance soldier left, the elders, General Xant, and Velyra moved toward Kent and the tribe chief.
“As promised, victory is yours,” Kent said.
“Thank you, Kent. You really have helped us greatly,” General Xant said, now seeing Kent as someone he could put his bet on. Naturally, the elders also held the same expressions now.
“I just did what I was told to do. No need to thank me,” Kent said with a small smile.
“Does that mean you will be leaving soon?” General Xant asked, but Kent didn’t immediately answer. He turned to Tribe Chief Malthar.
“Let’s go back first.”
Kent, the elders, General Xant, and Velyra nodded as they flew toward the tribe.
Meanwhile, the soldiers in the Bloodvein army were cheering and celebrating their victory over the alliance. Every single one of them didn’t know if they would come out alive.
However, now that they were the winners, they couldn’t help but celebrate their win.
Kent and the elders entered the throne room for one last discussion, considering they had a major migration to make in the next few days.
“Before we begin, tell us more about where you want to take us.”
