Chapter 436: Third day?!
Otto and the others were extremely surprised by the amount of people that showed up to buy in Michael’s stall.
This whole pathway was supposed to only have twenty to thirty people coming through it, but when they looked everywhere, they realized that hundreds had gathered in a bunch around this area.
Michael’s products had completely broken the map. This became the hub and the center for all of the people walking through the Market Plaza. It wasn’t just a stall that people passed through. It was a place that people actively looked for, attracting people that weren’t even initially going to the park.
But they couldn’t blame the customers. Michael’s products were all good quality. And even the exotic items that usually cost a fortune now became very much affordable.
Michael had doubled his sales every single day. And it looks like the third day wouldn’t disappoint.
After all, they had already reached the 4,000 mark.
And when added with their previous sales, they had officially reached the 7,000 sales goal for the permit test.
Once he counted it correctly, Michael walked over to the gates of the park and talked to one of the Association employees handing out special coins to the customers.
“Excuse me.”
The employee looked back and recognized Michael’s face. “It’s you! You’re from the Reborn company stall!”
Michael nodded.
“Do you know how much our Association has been busy because of you? People have been asking for more coins from us so that they could spend it on your stall!”
Almost everyone in the Association knew about the miracle company who garnered 2,000 plus sales in a single day.
“What can I help you with?” the employee asked.
“I want you to tally my score for today,” Michael said promptly.
The employee looked at him weirdly. “What do you mean?”
“I have enough coins to pass the test.”
The employee almost scoffed in Michael’s face, thinking that it was a joke. But seeing the serious look on the golden-haired boy’s face, the employee couldn’t help but shake his head in denial.
“Can you say that again? You passed the test? You mean to tell me that you already got 7,000 sales?”
Michael nodded.
The employee was stunned for a second, not knowing how to react. He was stuck in a juxtaposition between disbelief and thinking that this was a prank.
“I have the coins with me. Can you count it?” Michael asked.
Still stunned, the employee eventually managed to drag out the magical chest from under the wooden desk and present it to Michael. He verified first that the counter said zero, before gesturing to Michael to dump all of his coins inside.
Clink tink click tink
The coins fell through the shadow box in Michael’s palms, with the counter in the chest slowly rising.
When it reached one thousand, the employee remained steadfast. And when it reached beyond two thousand coins, the man started to stare at the chest with wide-eyed disbelief.
He already thought this was mighty impressive, but the coins just didn’t stop falling!
The number kept rising to three thousand and eventually landed on the final number: 4,784 coins.
The employee had to sit back down in his chair to digest this information. He then picked up the scroll in the desk and looked at the current tally that the Reborn company had.
With the new tally of scores added, they far surpassed the 7,000 mark needed to pass the test.
“You…you have won the permit…,” the employee said, still in disbelief.
This young, golden-haired boy was able to achieve the permit within three days!
Somehow, Michael was able to double his sales every single day that he was open. And by the third, he had achieved his goal four days early.
He couldn’t even believe that this was true.
If this was any other circumstance, then the employee would have immediately doubted the results. This was far too exaggerated of a score for someone to achieve during their permit test.
But he only had to look in the distance to see the truth.
In the middle of the Market Plaza, within the greenery and vegetation of the park, there was currently a large group of people gathering inside one particular spot: J5.
This was what made the whole thing even more absurd.
The day hadn’t even ended yet!
It was still midday, with the sun still clearly at its zenith! Yet, Michael was already able to get the 4,000 sales that he needed to pass the test!
This meant that in all likelihood, he would double his current sales by the end of the day, making his total above 8,000 sales.
“I…I….this is a dream…”
The employee ended up fainting in his chair due to pure shock.

Meanwhile, in the Association Headquarters, Claudia Montgomery heard the sound of hurried footsteps echoing throughout their marble floors.
She would have got up to her feet to scold this troublemaker for disturbing her while she arranged some paperwork.
But as she left her seat, the door to her room suddenly burst wide open.
“Again with the no knocking? When will you people ever learn?”
The employee ignored her and tried to catch his breath. It looked like he had sprinted through an entire mountain to get here.
“Haaa….haaa….”
Eventually, the employee was able to utter two words.
“Look….Reborn!”
Claudia got up from her desk and took the scroll from her employee’s hand.
…
…
…
Claudia Montgomery raced through the streets of Metropolis, armed with nothing but her horse and her fiery face.
She wanted to see it for herself.
She wanted to see how the Reborn company was able to get more than 7,000 sales within two and a half days of operation.
Entering the Market Plaza, she immediately noticed the large gathering of people in the J5 spot. There were so many people that she couldn’t even see the large pond that was right next to Michael’s stall.
Riding her horse, she parted the crowd. Once they saw her white toga, they knew that she was an employee of the Association and promptly gave her the space she needed.
Eventually, she saw it: the mobile stall.
She saw the rows and rows of tables presented in front of the truck, each one showing different kinds of products that she had never seen before.
On the stall itself, there were demi-humans serving some smoking hot wheel-shaped food towards their customers, who ate their orders at the designated tables beside the truck.
And the one happily manning the counters was none other than the golden-haired boy.
She got off her horse and approached Michael.
“You rascal. You did it in only three days?” she asked him, shaking her head.
“Two and a half,” he corrected her.
Claudia let out a chuckle. The more she knew about Michael, the more she understood what her niece saw in him. The boy broke all kinds of expectations constantly. And when you think they’ve finished surprising people, then he would come up with another surprise in his pockets.
She then took out a large red coin from her pockets. It was the size of an adult’s palms, which couldn’t even fit inside of Michael’s hands.
“Here. you earned it,” she said, handing the permit to Michael.
Michael took the permit in his hands and nodded.
