“Sylphy… Sylphy…”

Aquarina constantly talked in her dreams, moving her hands in the air while seemingly trying to grab something.

Undine and Leviathan were watching her have a very vivid dream.

“What is she dreaming now?” Undine wondered.

“Grrarr?” Leviathan asked.

“Yes probably Sylphy again…” Undine nodded.

“Nooo… Sylphyyyy…!”

Aquarina started crying a bit as she began talking louder while dreaming.

Within her dreams, she found herself constantly running through a ruined city.

A huge city, perhaps the largest she had ever seen, with an enormous, falling castle in the distance.

The city was in ruins, houses destroyed, streets burning, monsters roaming everywhere.

Sylphy was far away, fighting hordes after hordes of creatures on her own.

“S-Sylphy!”

Aquarina screamed as she battled across a huge army of monsters, they seemed strange, they weren’t natural creatures, but were twisted and horrifying, with auras that seemed to corrupt the very world they touched.

“Get out of my way!”

Aquarina screamed with all her fury, her entire body covered in bruises and blood, her scales constantly being shattered and falling, she tore her way through hundreds of aberrations.

Yet they kept dragging her back more and more, never allowing her to reach her.

“S-Sylphy…! SYLPHY!”

She kept screaming, as she saw Sylphy running farther away from her, entering into a horde of monsters and being engulfed by them.

The red-haired girl fiercely fought them with her huge sword and her dragon powers, her aura destroying anything around her.

However, the more she ran forward, the more Aquarina was left behind…

Until ultimately, Sylphy was surrounded, the monsters constantly damaging her and leaving large wounds that she couldn’t recover from.

“NO…! NO! NOOO!”

She tore through more and more monsters, trying to get to Sylphy while crying, she leaped into midair, only for dozens of insect-like monstrosities to catch her in midair and push her down.

“S-STOP…! LEAVE ME ALONE!”

She screamed, her dragon aura devouring her foes, and at the same time, the monsters were never ending, coming from absolutely nowhere, emerging through black flames.

And then she saw Sylphy fighting several monsters, a group of seven in specific, who were much different than the rest.

They were very humanoid, with their own shapes and sizes. Some were huge and burly, gigantic and muscular, others were small, holding tremendous magical power.

And their leader, a young man-looking monster, with short purple hair and black horns.

Sylphy managed to defeat half of them, but Aquarina saw as they cut her limbs off one after another, while their leader pierced her heart with his black sword.

Aquarina’s eyes widened, despair filling her mind as she saw Sylphy vomiting blood, falling to the ground, and then being beheaded.

“NOOOOOO!!!”

Aquarina opened her eyes, looking everywhere as she screamed, gasping for air, realizing it was just a dream.

“W-Wha… What did I just saw?”

She grabbed her head; her tears wouldn’t stop coming.

It felt way too real.

This wasn’t a normal dream at all.

“Aquarina!”

“Raawwrr!”

Undine and Leviathan flew to her side, hugging her. Undine hugged her with her little arms, and Leviathan wrapped his long serpentine body around her.

“It was just a bad dream, calm down…” Undine said. “Everything is okay! Sylphy is fine too! Her father and that other hero are with her, nothing could ever happen to her, calm down.”

“Haah… Haah… Undine…”

“Raaarrr!” Leviathan licked her face, cleaning her tears.

“Levi…”

Aquarina slowly got better after she was smothered between her two dear Spirits, and then she heard the door being open.

“Aquarina! What happened?! Why did you scream?”

It was her mother, accompanied by her father behind him…

“I-I had a bad dream… sorry, I’m fine…” Aquarina muttered, feeling embarrassed and still a bit sad.

“A bad dream? What sort of bad dream makes you scream that loudly?” Nepheline sighed.

“Come on, don’t be like that with her…” Shade walked to Aquarina’s side. “Are you alright? Need a hug?”

“Hmm…” Aquarina hugged her father right away, and Shade patted her head and kissed her forehead.

“It’s alright now… It was just a dream, everything is okay.”

“Geez…”

Nepheline felt bad as she saw her husband being a nicer parent, and quickly sat down by her daughter’s side and hugged her as well.

“There, there… Nothing wrong has happened, okay? This girl…”

“It felt so real… I…”

Aquarina was still struggling a bit with what she saw.

“What did you see?” her father asked.

“I-I…”

Aquarian explained them her dreams, or what she could barely remember from it before she were to forget. About running in the middle of a huge, ruined and burning city with a giant castle that had been destroyed.

And about the endless wave of monstrous, aberrant creatures that endlessly kept coming out of black flames without even any gate or dungeon.

And how she was constantly being dragged back, while Sylphy recklessly charged into the endless monster army, fighting them all on her own.

Until she ultimately battled Seven powerful Monsters, and their Leader, and how she had her limbs cut off, her chest pierced by a cursed sword, and then how she was beheaded.

“My goodness… And it was that graphic?” Asked her mother.

“Yeah… I… Ugh, it was just a weird dream right?” Aquarina asked.

“You remember the look of that young man?” Shade asked.

“Yeah he… I remember it too well… the other figures were blurry but I remember their sillhoutes too…” Aquarina muttered. “That guy had short purple hair, white skin, pointy ears, red eyes, and long black horns.”

“Black horns…” Shade squinted his eyes. “It might not be completely accurate, but it could be a premonition of the future.”

“What?!” Aquarina gasped. “No way! Is Sylphy going to-“

“Calm down,” Nepheline said. “These dreams, we also had them, they are twisted versions of the possibilities of the future. It is our own Blessings warning us of a future threat. That we must prepare.”

“You had them too?” Aquarina asked.

“Yeah, around your age we began to have them, before we went against the Demon King…” Shade sighed. “That young man… It was probably the new Demon King, Aquarina.”

“Eh?”
