Soon, Arad and Sena returned to the mansion in Croc, finding Sara and Betty still waiting there. Betty looked at them and sniffed the air, “You two didn’t do anything without us, but he smells a bit wrong. What did happen?”
“We’ll, it worked perfectly.” Sena hugged Arad with a large smile on her face. “He could see my true body, and here he is, still sane, alive and well.”
“What did you show him exactly? Can we know?” Sara approached, and Sena shrugged, “You can know, but I doubt that you could go and see me for yourselves. Too much risk, even he found it hard to survive.”
Arad pointed at her, “She is a whole world of living tentacles covered in an aphrodisiac so concentrated that it looks like black tar and enough mental energy to drive a god insane just by looking at her.”
The two froze, “A living world?” Betty couldn’t wrap her head around what Arad said.
“If this world is an apple, then I’m a melon with a large maw and one big eye.” Sena shrugged, “Don’t try to imagine it. It’s not something that anyone can figure out. You’d better think of me as a massive monster.”
Arad sat on the bed, “She isn’t dangerous to us, and that’s what matters. If we’re afraid of destructive power, then aren’t we all here monsters? I can blow this whole world into bits. Betty is as fast and light, and no one can stop her, and Sara can call forth devils from the ninth layer of hell.”
The three girls looked at each other and then smiled, “You’re right.” Sena stretched her arms, “We better start then.” She looked around, “Where is Selica? Selica!”
The room’s door and Selica walked in just a few seconds later. She was waiting outside in the hallway. “Did you call me?” Her eyes landed on Sena.
“Of course I did. You said you were taking a bath to wash the explosive slime, not live in there. I honestly expected to find you waiting here once I returned with Arad.” She pointed at her.
“Forget about me. How did it go?” Selica walked forward and sat on the couch. Sena sighed and looked at her, “A bit better than we expected. Arad managed to resist the mental damage and even had enough power to fly out after sinking in.”
“We didn’t have that much expectation to begin with.” Selica looked at Arad, “Lady Sena expected that you’d resist and return with her safe and sound. I expected that you’ll survive, but you’ll turn on her once you’ve seen her true body.”
Selica knew that her mistress, Sena, was an abomination and one more powerful than most. She expected Arad to turn hostile the moment he found out, and so she had been preparing for one last fight in that case.
If Arad turned on Sena, Selica was ready to start a war right here and now. He’ll return to a charred region without a single soul alive.
Arad looked at Selica and then at the ground, his gaze piercing straight through the mimic house and sept into the depth of the ground. It didn’t take him a second to notice the magic veil that had been lifted. Arad didn’t look underneath the ground before, so he never noticed it. But now he could see what was beneath the veil.
The caves and caverns, all of them, several hundred kilometers that spread like a spiderweb beneath Croc City, the university, and the swamp, all of them were filled with explosive, green slime.
“It’ll only take you a thought to blow the whole area to the clouds. The city, the swamp, and even the university.” Arad smiled, “But, can you stop those two from killing you?” He pointed at Sara and Betty.
Selica sat down, “I can kill Sara with ease. Betty would be a problem.” Her eyes flashed red, and smoke started rising from between her teeth, “But, the question is if she can kill me before overheating.”
Betty has a limit on how much she can use her full speed- simply because her halfling body isn’t suited for moving at the speed of light, even with her draconic blood. Selica was betting that Betty couldn’t kill her fast enough and would tire herself.
Arad leaned back on the couch and looked at her, “I see, that indeed might work. But, isn’t blowing the whole place going overboard?”
“Overboard?” She chuckled, “If the world branded my creator as evil, why would I care about the world and its people? Let it all burn.”
Sena pointed at her, “See? She is still a thick stone up here.” She knocked on her head, “I must’ve failed to make that part of her right.”
Selica approached the table in the corner of the room and started stripping, “Well, that plan only works if Arad isn’t around. If he was here, it probably won’t work.” She looked back at Betty and Sara, “I mean, weeks of work all gone like that. He already cleaned up all the slime.”
Sena blinked, “Wait. He already cleaned it up?”
Arad nodded, “The moment I saw all that slime, I expanded by void and sucked everything with Selica’s mana mark.” He looked at Selica, “How was that?”
“Even if I had already ignited it, you would’ve cleaned it in time, so not that much damage would happen.”
Betty sighed in the back, “This means I have to find other defensive spells. I never imagined that someone could carry such an attack.”
“Of course, you won’t have imagined it.” Sena looked at her with a proud smile, “Selica is a unique monster crafted by yours truly.” She approached Selica, pulled her closer, and brushed her hand across her back. “As you can see, she is as tough as stone, as volatile as her explosive slime, yet she is as beautiful as one who made her.” She looked at Sena’s face, “No, I’m more beautiful. What do you say, Arad.”
Arad looked at them, “Between you four?” He paused for a second, “I’ll take Sara, then Betty, then Selica, and then you last.”
“Hey! Why I’m the last one!” Sena cried as Sara blushed in the back.
“Of course, since you’re the one who asked the question.”
Sena jumped at him, landing between his legs, “Fine, I’ll have to change that later. Selica, help me here!” She opened her mouth wide open, and Arad’s massive flesh disappeared into the depths of her throat.
Selica joined her, taking charge of what was left, while Betty and Sara jumped Arad’s upper half, fighting over who gets his face.
