A creature of mysterious origin suddenly infiltrated the hospital.
Evelyn inspected the creature from behind the others, with an evident frown—she could tell that the creature was not strong but it was certainly unlike she had ever seen before. It was more grotesque and gnarly than other creatures she encountered in the past.
Judging from the way it prowled above the operation table, it was aimless or mindless.
Its excessive limbs were moving left and right disorderly.
One took a step to the left while the other to the opposite direction, very contradictive.
Almost as if the creature couldn't control its own limbs properly.
As Evelyn observed the creature—her eyes glanced down at the unconscious Orc, and saw that the creature was avoiding him. Despite the disorderly limbs, none of them hurt the Orc as if the creature deliberately focuses on not hurting him.
'Just what is this creature? How did it get here?' She mused in confusion.
Roar!
But then, the creature screeched and darted at the others like a hungry animal.Surprisingly enough, the creature was able to overpower the hospital head who was also an Awakened, and the other Awakened, knocking them both backward—crashing onto the hall, outside with a grunt.
Linthia was the only one who managed to stand her ground, clashing against the creature.
She wrestled with the creature but slowly was overpowered.
Knowing that she would not be able to hold on any longer, as the creature was beginning to press her down to a knee, Linthia chanted a spell that summoned sparkling dust around her and the creature.
It was her spell to lower the negative emotions of others and also herself.
However, the creature was unaffected, its killing intent only climbed after Linthia did that.
Tilting its head slightly, the creature used its monstrous arm to strike Linthia's side.
Bam!
She grunted in pain upon impact, she could feel her ribcage throbbing at that strike.
Blood seeped out from her mouth, but even then, she persevered.
'I can't let this thing pass me!' Linthia mused resolutely. 'I won't let it get near the Empress!'
Just as she was about to prepare to tackle the creature to the other side, buying time for the hospital head and the Awakened to recover and protect Evelyn again, Linthia's eyes widened at the sight of the creature's face grabbed by a hand.
A fiery hand to be exact that was hot enough to slowly melt its mask-like face.
Deciding to disregard her position, Evelyn stepped in and helped Linthia, "That's enough...!"
Even though she wanted to let her people handle the situation, she realized that there would be casualties, before this situation was handled. She wanted to bear herself—as an Empress and also as a Luna, but this time, she couldn't.
Underneath all of her status, she is also a member of the Silverstar Pack.
Screech!
In an attempt to break free, the creature wailed and struggled ferociously.
Like a rat trapped in a box, it fought back maniacally.
However—with every attempt to push Evelyn's hand away or launch an attack aimed at her, the creature found itself powerless. A fiery barrier shielded Evelyn from its assaults, and her hand remained unyielding as an unmovable stone.
Regardless of that, the creature kept trying everything it could without stopping.
Evelyn's grip on its face became tighter, and even blood began to spill out of its mask face.
But the concept of pain didn't affect the creature, it acted the same to the end.
Swoosh!
Not pulling back her power—Evelyn burned the creature with her dark red flame as her grip kept getting tighter and tighter, melting and crushing the creature's face. Under the others' gaze, the creature was rendered to a burnt carcass.
It stopped moving entirely when it was nothing more than a dark purple skeleton.
Upon killing the creature, Evelyn shifted her gaze to the dimensional crack in the corner.
One that was said to spit out this creature suddenly.
Harnessing her flame, she covered it with a barrier of flames in case another one might come out and attack them while they were off-guard. Vanquishing the flames, on her hand—Evelyn turned around, "Tell me everything that happened up to this point..."
A moment later, the bloody mess in the underground hall was cleaned and taken care of.

All of those who died were treated with respect and given a proper burial.
Linthia already went out herself with an assembled team to find Rex and relay a message to him about the situation, as only he could address this. Now, Evelyn was standing beside the Orc, inside the room of the previous attack.
In the room were a couple more Awakened, one of them was Dray from the Burton Family.
He had grown stronger and reached the mid-seventh rank realm.
Other than him, there were five trusted Awakened from the Burton—and Hester Families who were in the eighth-rank realm. Even Ugrok came—and waited near the hospital in the case of another attack.
'He's the only one who knows what happened,' Evelyn thought while looking at the Orc.
Linthia said earlier that the Orc knew what happened to the team she sent.
She also believed that what happened there had some ties with what happened here.
Of course, there was no way of proving that until the Orc woke up and told what happened.
Considering that the creature earlier, also didn't seem to want to hurt the Orc, Evelyn was on the same page as Linthia. Inspecting the Orc, she took a closer look and found that his entire body was coated by a thin layer of purple energy.
It must've been the Chaos energy the hospital head was talking about.
Reaching her hand to touch the Orc's arm, she pulled back her hand when she felt a sting.
A sting that assaulted her fingertips immediately as she touched the Orc.
Upon seeing this, the Awakened in the room stepped forward in concern, fearing that Evelyn got hurt from that. However, she raised her hand to signal that she was unharmed—she was fine. 'My luna energy, has healing properties—I can heal and strengthen anyone, apart of the pack quickly. But I have never tried it on others before...'
Harnessing her luna energy, Evelyn tried to touch the Orc one more time.
For the second time, she could last longer.
Evelyn fought back the Chaos energy that wanted to sting her—she lasted for ten seconds, but the end was still the same. Once again—her hand was thrown back from the sting, "Not potent enough, huh..." She mused lightly.
"Don't do that, Your Majesty. That is not normal Chaos energy,"
Suddenly, a voice interrupted Evelyn from the back.
Glancing over her shoulders, she was surprised to find Prof. K standing by the entrance.
Prof. K entered the room alongside Giana, who followed from behind, he brought along a bag of tools strapped over his shoulder, "I've seen these dark spots before—His Majesty recently was faced with the same dimensional cracks and Chaos energy caused by a beast I and also Giana killed,"
"Rex knew something about this?" Evelyn asked, surprised at the news.
If he knew then he must know the cause of it.
Placing down the bag, Prof. K took out an enchanted knife, and a tube before bending over to take a sample, from the creature's carcass placed on the side, "Yes, he tried to vanquish the beast with the same Chaos energy as this one and got hit by a backlash"
"All of these dimensional cracks will disappear shortly," He added.
Upon hearing this, Evelyn frowned, "But that creature came out of the dimensional cracks,"
"What...?" Prof. K turned around after he meticulously put a piece of the creature's bone into the test tube. "It came out of the dimensional crack? It should not be like that, nothing came out of our dimensional cracks,"
Recalling the time in the arena, Prof. K saw not a single creature come out of the cracks.
It closed on its own, repaired by the world itself.
"Yes, that thing came out, and instantly attacked everything in its sight," Evelyn nodded—her tone was serious. "It's as strong as an eighth-rank realm entity, and it was oozing with Chaos energy. Some strong Awakened, died today because of it"
"Then we should wait for the Emperor, he'll know what to make of this," Prof. K replied.
Evelyn clicked her tongue in displeasure, "Where is the Emperor?"
"His Majesty, Lord Flunra—alongside a high-rank team, went to scout the dense fog isolating our city," Giana replied in Prof. K's stead—as he didn't know about that. "I reckoned that their scouting would take some time since the fog is vast,"
Sighing lightly, Evelyn decided that she would leave things to the two of them and leave.
She had enough surprises for today.
"Also, that Orc knows something so treat him if you can," She said before leaving the room.
Not minding the situation again, Evelyn walked out with quick strides.
She was going to address the governor to be more alert, in knowing more about what was happening in the city—and see if she could meet with Gelmar and Dindora to increase the city's security.
'First is the incoming hostile Angels, and now this...? Things can't get worse,' Evelyn thought.
Upon her leaving, Prof. K looked at the Awakened in the room.
"Move the Orc to a different room," He commanded before the Awakened did as told.
Even though the Chaos energy—enveloping the Orc's body was retaliating against Evelyn's energy earlier—it would not react as aggressively if the Awakened didn't use any energy to grab him.
But as a precaution, Prof. K told them not to touch the Orc directly with their bare hands.
"Also—keep a rotation in guarding this room and the carcass," Prof. K added as the Orc was brought outside. "Many people are affected by the Chaos energy—and I don't want more to follow, especially not strong ones like all of you,"
"Yes, Sir!" the Awakened replied in a union before Prof. K headed outside.
He would see if he could do anything to help the Orc regain his consciousness and wake up.
Meanwhile, Evelyn walked outside of the hospital grounds with two guards beside her.
She had finished being checked by the healers to see if she was corrupted.
Fortunately, despite the tragedy earlier, she was perfectly fine.
Upon stepping into the street she glanced to the side and coincidentally met with Kyran who had returned from the Dark Elf Kingdom. He had a fresher air around him—as if a big burden, was lifted off of his shoulders.
Since he had taken care of his task at the Dark Elf Kingdom, naturally, he was relieved.
He did a very good job, so he was in a good mood.
Right beside him was Naela, and she gave Evelyn a slight bow as a greeting.
"Evelyn, you're finally out," Kyran remarked with a meaningful tone.
Rolling her eyes, Evelyn replied, "I see that you're in a good mood, but now is not the time,"
Looking to the hospital, Kyran raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong? Why is it packed here?"
Before Evelyn answered his question—she gestured for the two guards to give them privacy and bring Kyran to the side. She used her sound element to mute their voices, before Evelyn glanced at Naela, asking through her eyes.
"Naela, give us a minute," Kyran said with a stern tone.
Upon hearing this, Naela wanted to say something but decided to nod and go away.
As opposed to letting Evelyn say what she wanted to say, Kyran intervened as he needed to get this out first. He could tell that Evelyn was about to say something important—so lighter problems should be talked out first.
"Before you start, I want to say that you should go to the Dark Elf Kingdom," Kyran said.
Evelyn was confused by this, "Me? Why?"
"I went a little bit overboard because of the moment, can you help me out with it?" He asked.
Knowing what Kyran meant, Evelyn could only sigh and nod, "I'll deal with it,"
"Thanks," Kyran nodded, his expression then turned serious. "So, what's the problem?"
Pausing for a second, pondering on how to tell Kyran the problems, Evelyn articulated words, inside her mind before she eventually looked Kyran dead in the eyes, knowing that there was no way to ease this smoothly.
"Expect war, the Angels are coming," She finally said, with utmost seriousness.
