Princess Selene was aware that the Royal Black Prince was nearby.
It seemed he really did see the Alpha Primes and changed his mind.
But sending his Luna here doesn't mean that he was afraid, it was the contrary, he was really looking down on them as the Luna is usually the most protected and only has political power, not raw strength.
So most of the time, the opposition could handle the Luna easily.
In a situation—where they were in a hostile territory, the Alpha most of the time was the one who would come to talk. Since the Luna was sent here, it basically mean, that the Alpha was not afraid of his Luna being attacked.
Not only Princess Selene but the Alpha Primes also realized that.
So the mockery from Evelyn made the situation extremely tense.
And now, Evelyn ignored the tension and asked the brazen question directly to them.
Princess Selene frowned as her mind raced in contemplation.
But the silence was shattered with humorous, overbearing laughter coming from none other than the Alpha Prime with the Blood Moon King Mark. His laughter, echoed in the room—his shoulders under his fur cloak rose up and down. For him, the question was the funniest thing he had heard in a while.
So much that he needed to wipe his laughter tears.
"Is that even a question?" He asked—leaning forward. "Luna, Empress—Evelyn Luc... are you seriously asking us that question when the answer is obvious? I knew that your Alpha is a bit of an idealist but keep the kid's dream to himself. In no way he would rule over us"
"A lot of naive entities tried to achieve what he wanted to achieve, to bring peace to this evil and cruel world," Another Alpha Prime chimed, tilting his head. "the First Human Emperor, as strong as he is, failed to achieve that. What makes you think your Alpha could? It is the most impossible dream of all, the bloodshed is an unending cycle that can't be stopped"
"Killing the Fifthborn is impressive but isn't deserving of the world" Another laughed.
Every single Alpha Prime found Evelyn's question funny.
Adhara's expression soured, it was the same for Gistella, these arrogant elders are too much.
Both of them looked at the back of Evelyn's head, waiting for her command.
Hearing this, Princess Selene observed Evelyn attentively.
'As I said, this is a reckless visit. The Alpha Primes are behind me,' She pondered—squinting her eyes. 'What are you going to do now, Silverstar Pack's Luna? Will you have an answer to this or will you run back to your Alpha?'
For a brief moment, Evelyn tilted her head down—letting the Alpha Primes laugh.
"Another bunch of imbeciles," Suddenly, Evelyn's voice boomed, silencing—the Alpha Primes almost instantly. She then swept her gaze across the entire room. "I thought being way older would mean wiser, but I stand corrected. Do you know how many people—have doubted him as you all do now? How many people stood in his way? All were buried without exceptions"
"You're speaking to the wrong crowd, Luna. We all earned our strength" Zeul finally spoke.
He had been observing the Luna in silence to determine her real intent here.
Now he cracked her, she came here to coax them.
However, this prompted Evelyn to look directly at him.
She took a couple of steps closer—the sound of her heels treading the floor echoed.
"Yes..." Evelyn continued, stopping paces away from Zeul's seat. She tilted her head, faking a concerned face, "But did you attain your position, in a year? Did you become an Alpha Prime, the noblest degree for a non-royal in the Werewolf Society in a year?" ṜΑNổВËṢ
Zeul pursed his lips, he knew the answer but was reluctant to say it.
Achieving the Alpha Prime title was a hazardous path, eating eight hundred years of his life.
It took so long to reach the esteemed position of an Alpha Prime.
Finding that Zeul's lips were closed shut, no answer coming out, Evelyn smirked lightly and turned away, "My Alpha has the highest potential to become the strongest, while all of you struggle to become the strongest in your kingdom, he already became the strongest in the world for a moment in a year's time"
"Time and time again, he has proven to do the impossible," Evelyn said aloud, looking at the Alpha Primes—who were now shaken a bit, one by one. "laughing at someone of his caliber, does that not make all of you a fool?"
Upon saying that, the room was silent—taken over by Evelyn's words and charm.
She said it in a way that made going against her would make the person look more foolish.
But even then, that didn't stop one of them from going against her.
"And yet, there's still no chance..." the Alpha Prime bearing the Blood Moon King Mark said as he rose from his seat, looking down, at Evelyn. "We fought for our freedom, waded over rivers of blood to build this kingdom—and maintain our race. To our dying breath, we'll not allow it to fall under the rule of your pretentious empire with a cloud castle of a dream. You came here for nothing, Evelyn Luc..."
Despite the logical reasoning, these Alpha Primes refused to listen.
It was within expectations, Evelyn didn't think that this would go her way smoothly.
However, there was one thing she was displeased about.
Princess Selene could sense Evelyn's displeasure as she turned towards the Alpha Prime.
Her face turned into an icy visage, one that was akin to a sharp dagger.
Seeing no Royal Black Prince in the room made the Alpha Primes more daring.
And Princess Selene positioned herself better in her seat, preparing for what was to come.
"You spoke my name too lightly, Alpha Prime..." Evelyn chanted, her voice laced with threats, her killing intent spike and swallowed the room whole. Naturally—the Alpha Primes prepared to defend themselves but the attack never came.
Instead, Evelyn turned to her behind, "Adhara, Gistella..." She called. "I don't condone him to call me by name, my name can't be easily said—by the likes of him. Take my name out of his mouth please, it's repulsive"
Upon hearing this, Adhara and Gistella glanced at the said Alpha Prime.
"As you wish, Luna," Both of them replied in a union before pivoting toward the Alpha Prime.
Seeing the two approaching him, the Alpha Prime laughed—as his body steamed with kingly energy in preparation to take Adhara and Gistella on. But before he could react, Adhara, and Gistella blurred.
In the next second, the Alpha Prime blinked and saw them a step away from him.
Reacting as best as he could, the Alpha Prime leaped back toward the window.
He was aiming to take the battle outside with more space.

However, his body's momentum was frozen still as if there was an invisible force grabbing his body. Glancing back to the duo, he saw Gistella's long steel tail stabbed into his shadow, and pinned him on his spot.
A unique ability—exclusive only to her.
Knowing next to nothing about Gistella's ability, the Alpha Prime was caught.
Following that, Adhara pushed him back down to his seat and grabbed him by the muzzle.
A violet flame serpent coiled out of her and wrapped around the Alpha Prime.
Being pinned by Gistella's ability and now wrapped by the flame serpent, on top of Adhara's strength pressing on him, the Alpha Prime couldn't break free even though he became feral, attempting to break free as violently as he could.
"Don't struggle or this is going to be more painful than it should be," Adhara whispered.
She grabbed the Alpha Prime's lower jaw and forced it open with her claws.
Just as Evelyn instructed, she was going to take Evelyn's name from his mouth.
But in the same breath, the wind inside the room changed.
A palpable tension cutting through like a blade.
Exactly three other Alpha Primes—moved from their seats, and their moves blurred—as they closed in on Eveyln. At that moment the room seemed to freeze as they surrounded her with lethal precision.
One lunged forward, claws poised to tear out Evelyn's heart.
Another crouched low, ready to shred her legs and leave her crippled for good.
Lastly, the third stood in her shadow, claws a mere breath away from ripping her throat.
Each one of their actions was swift and ruthless, honed through countless bloody battles.
Being able to react this quickly was a testament to their unyielding readiness to face even the most bizarre. As for the rest of the Alpha Primes, they sat frozen, at the edges of their seats—eyes wide with uncertainty of how this would play out.
Even Princess Selene, for all her composure, faltered.
None of them had expected the meeting to erupt into this storm of imminent violence.
Adhara and Gistella stopped, they sensed what was happening behind them.
On the other hand, unlike Princess Selene, Evelyn didn't falter, she still very much had the same composure as earlier, standing straight, while gazing ahead at Princess Selene. She didn't fear the claws that were dangerously close to her.
Choked by the tension, the room came to an abrupt stop as if time itself had stopped.
Everyone felt like they were being choked directly.
"Are you sure you understand what you're doing?" Evelynn broke the silence with a very light whisper—she was talking to the Alpha Primes who were showing their claws at her. "If I were you, I'd think again"
"Don't think you can do anything you want here," the Alpha Prime behind her answered. "It is you who started this. Do you really think we would stay silent, as you and your pack hurt one of us? You brought this to yourself"
"Let me tell you what's going to happen," Evelyn answered, her unmoving eyes as well as her very calm tone were eerie to hear. It made the there Alpha Primes sweated, "You would allow my pack to do what I told them to do or face annihilation"
"Even before your prince came to rescue you, you would've been dead!"
"Go on ahead, I know you're brave enough to do it"
Upon hearing this, the Alpha Prime behind her gritted his teeth.
He was hoping to shake Evelyn down by this to help a friend from being humiliated.
But it didn't seem like the Luna was an easy individual to crack, instead, she was cheering on him to attempt to kill her. She knew her political prowess intimately, she knew they would not dare harm her or else their kingdom would be wiped from the map.
Finding that she wasn't budging, the three Alpha Primes didn't know what to do.
In the moment of tension, the Alpha Prime behind Evelyn twitched.
"Careful..." Evelyn whispered hauntingly. "they're quite sensitive when it's about me"
Instinctively, the Alpha Prime looked down to her neck and found that his claws touched the surface of her skin a little bit. Due to the sharpness of his claws, the light tap—made a small cut on her neck.
A small trail of blood crawled down to the base of her neck.
Realizing what he had done, the Alpha Prime pulled back—taking a few steps back.
His pupils dilated, throbbing with worry as he didn't mean to do that.
"Rindan! Why did you do that?!" Prince Selene thundered in shock.
Just then, however, Adhara—and Gistella sniffed the air—smelling the familiar tang of blood, before slowly turning towards the Alpha Prime, Rindan who was pale as a sheet of paper. He was breathing hard from the realization.
Evelyn kept her composure as Rindan looked around, trying to find help from the others.
She reached for her neck with her finger and looked at it.
On the tip of her index finger was her blood.
Letting it slide down, the blood dropped gently to the ground and hit the floor.
Just then, the moment the blood touched the blood, Rindan's breath hitched—as his vision suddenly turned crimson. Goosebumps assaulted him, tickling his spine and soul and when he turned to look at the window, he gasped.
His life flashed in his eyes.
