THE LAST PARAGON IN THE APOCALYPSE

“Klaus, baby, are you happy?” Klaus’s mom asked, combing his hair. He laid his head on her lap as they watched the sunset.

“Are you kidding me? I am happy… very happy.” Klaus didn’t even hesitate to answer her. His mom smiled upon hearing his response.

“How about you, Mom? Are you happy?” Klaus asked. He knew she was checking to see if he still thought they wouldn’t make it past the night.

Back in the slums, anything can happen at any time. Sometimes, Klaus just wondered why nobody ever bothered them in such a dangerous place.

“I am. I have you and all your ladies, so I am happy,” she replied.

They had come a long way. From the slums, they were now having the best time of their lives. Klaus had more than ten women in his life, and probably, they wouldn’t be the only ones.

His mom also had more people to spend time with, so she wasn’t sad in any way.

“It’s good you are happy, Klaus. I am happy knowing you are also happy,” she smiled and continued combing his hair.

It had been a week since the ladies and his friends left, leaving only him and his mom behind. Each day, they would do something new, and when it was time for sunset, they would go watch it together.

This was one of the many things they had been doing over the past few days.

Klaus was spending as much time as he could with her before returning. He knew he wouldn’t be returning for a while after he left.

After the sunset, they moved back to their hotel, where they had dinner and later went to bed.

They would be leaving for Ross City the next day.

Two days ago, Queenie, using the controversial news channel like Klaus had instructed, announced to the entire world that a new race of humans would be gracing Earth in the coming weeks.

The news spread far and wide, finally overshadowing the aftermath of the battle in Union City. The discovery that there were people on the moon all this time was like a wake-up call to many.

Some began to wonder what this all meant. Of course, Queenie said nothing about the situation with the lunar beast on the moon, as she never wanted to cause panic.

So, she only shared what needed to be said, which was to inform everyone about the soon-to-arrive neighbours who had been on the moon for thousands of years.

After the announcement, she also revealed that the Overlords would now form a close relationship with the media, starting with the controversial news channel.

This announcement was met with mixed reactions.

However, after analyzing the situation, many realized that the controversial news channel had recently risen to dominate the media landscape, so the partnership seemed natural.

Some also speculated that this connection was formed because of Klaus, as he had promised to grant the channel an interview with an Overlord.

After everything was done, she got the chance to go to the academy, do some reporting, and even meet the Overlords.

This was Queenie making sure she was closer to them, as Klaus wanted. He knew that if she was indeed a spy, she would want to be that close to the Overlords.

This was, in fact, Klaus finally understanding a trend. After connecting the dots, he could tell she wanted to use him to get through to the Overlords.

Klaus was like the warrior of the Century right now. Everyone knew he had risen to the level the overlords would listen to when he said something. So they knew he made this alliance possible.

Who is Klaus, one might ask?

He is someone who, out of nowhere, appeared and began to rise—and keeps rising—to the point where even the Overlords noticed him. Experience tales at My Virtual Library Empire

Some came but fell off. However, Klaus never stopped rising.

This was also why KKKickinIt noticed him. Klaus was a star that could not be extinguished, so she knew he would someday gain the Overlords’ favour, which would elevate him.

So, before that happens, she gets closer to him by ensuring Klaus notices her. And he did, in a strange kind of way.

She got his attention, and even though she made no attempt to use him, Klaus, after thinking really hard, arrived at the conclusion that made him suspect her as a spy.

Her disguised appearance and strength also played a part in all of this, so Klaus was convinced she was someone to watch closely.

Now that she had become something akin to the media lady for the Overlords, Klaus knew her true motives would soon be discovered.

He would very much love to see what she was made of and what kind of person she was beneath all the gossiping and reporting.

The next day, Klaus went to say goodbye to the nerds before leaving for Ross City, where he would enter seclusion and review his memories of his 4th and 9th incarnations.

He needed to get that done before venturing into other things.

He spent a day with his mom before finally entering seclusion to get things done.

That day, when he opened the next memory of his 4th life, he appeared in the tormented world where a powerful Ice Qi had just erupted from the Bloodline Awakening Tower, indicating someone had awakened their bloodline—and it was out of this world.

Now, while the last volume wasn’t the peak of fiction, I have to say, I enjoyed it very much. I enjoy writing, editing, and posting every single chapter.

It contains some of my favorite chapters and moments. It also includes some reveals I will develop in the coming chapters.

Now, onto the next volume, the 4th Volume, titled [The Coming of The End]. This volume will house some of the big reveals that will lead to one of the two mega battles coming in the future.

We will meet the Moon-Borns, and as a side note, another race will appear. You will love them, for they are a race made of very powerful warriors.

We will also get to read some interesting backstories of the people in Klaus’s life, as I have already started with Miriam, aka the Tyrant Queen.

We will also meet and add more waifus to the harem. And hey, don’t complain—there’s a Harem tag there, and the MC has lived nine lives. Lol.

Also, we will meet new Incarnations and get to know more about his 2nd [Knox] and 3rd [Asura God].

We will also see more about how his memories affect him and what they mean for future plots. Don’t worry—every memory is a good thing.

There will be a whole lot, but more importantly, we will get to see some amazing battles and the preparations Klaus will start making toward the coming of the Awakening.

This may sound like a spoiler, but we will learn more about Klaus’s uncles and get to know more about their true identities and how they connect to Klaus’s father.

There will be a lot of fun, and I promise you will enjoy everything.
