Bo laughed like a madman as he had some difficulties controlling himself. He wanted to make as many tests as possible right now.

He wanted to see the Reaper suffer as much as possible.

He wanted to see just how much he would be able to push Aiden until he had a meltdown.

There was just one thing he ignored. Aiden wasn’t the type to be making noises when he was hurt.

He would be putting on a stoic face through this whole ordeal. He had seen how much Bo liked seeing him in pain, and he would make sure that it wouldn’t happen again.

’Still, I won’t stay here just for fun…those experiments have to give me something, or else I’ll get out of here before he can even notice.’

Aiden had noticed something quite strange when he had entered this cell. The entirety of his Qi was completely blocked, and he couldn’t use it at all. However, there was one thing Bo hadn’t accounted for…

The fact that Aiden wasn’t from this world.

It was something that was impossible to prepare for since it wasn’t a situation that people from this world should know of.

"Did you notice something weird?" Bo asked as he watched Aiden’s every movement.

Aiden was almost talking about the restriction surrounding his Qi. After all, there was no way that Bo knew about Mana, another energy that he had no idea about.

"I can’t use my Qi," Aiden replied with a stoic face.

There was nothing else that felt weird apart from that.

"HAHAHA! This is just a fraction of my power. How does it feel? Are you feeling powerless in front of my incredible power?" Bo uttered with a straight face.

’Powerless? What the fuck is he talking about? Should I keep acting like a weakling?’ Aiden thought, unsure of what he needed to do next.

However, after a few seconds of reflection, he made his choice.

"Right! You are so powerful. Please don’t kill me!" Aiden said as he slowly moved away from Bo. However, he was still locked in a cage, so there wasn’t much he could do.

"Good, fear me, you weakling."

’Why is he so cringe when he talks?’ Aiden thought as all the lines he had uttered resembled those of stupid villains who would be shouting their next plans.

"Should I begin my experimentations on you?" Bo asked as he approached Aiden with a syringe that contained a red liquid.

’Ah…finally,’ Aiden thought as he looked at the liquid inside the syringe. For some strange reason, it looked exactly like something that he had seen before in his life.

He wasn’t sure what it was, but the consistency and thickness of the liquid reminded him of something in particular.

’Still, I can’t put my finger on it. It’s weird

He was sure that he had seen something similar in his life. In this life, too, not his past life.

He spent a few seconds trying to remember where it came from, but nothing came to his mind.

He saw Bo getting closer to him with his weird smirk. He was preparing himself to put that syringe into his arm.

’Should I let him? I don’t even know what that is

Still, Aiden debated in his mind what to do next and decided to let him. After all, he couldn’t leave by force…especially when Bo was awake.

He also wanted to know why this liquid reminded him of so many things.

*Splush!*

He inserted the syringe into his arm right away, which made him feel quite strange.

*Beep!*

However, he heard something that resounded in his mind as soon as the liquid entered his body, making him remember where he had seen that liquid the last time. ȒÂΝO͍ВƐš

’My second trial…those weird potions that gave me strength stats. I still remember there was even that Elixir that made me awaken my body potential Aiden thought as he had to admit that he was stupid not to abuse the strength of those potions.

But he was new to this world, which didn’t make him realize the importance of all those potions, which could have made him so much stronger, especially since he had access to Alex, the scientist who had made all those potions in the first place.

’Just how lucky I am to have found another scientist in this world,’ Aiden thought as he saw a message popping up right in front of his eyes.

[You have gained one Strength Stat.]

He could hear Bo’s murmurs as he looked at Aiden’s condition, and one thing was certain: he looked extremely happy about everything related to this.

It was the first time that he had seen someone react so well to one of the potions that he had made.

"How do you feel any changes in your body?" Bo asked, wondering if maybe he had been given a potion that had some problem.

Aiden wasn’t sure if he needed to act like everything was okay for him, but he couldn’t be doing something like that. He just told the truth, thinking that it was the right thing to do in this situation.

’Actually, should I lie? He might give me another one that way

Having this thought, Aiden instantly changed his mind.

"Nope, nothing changed…was there supposed to be something wrong with me taking this thing?"

Bo just smiled like the maniac he was.

"No…don’t worry, there wasn’t supposed to be anything wrong with you. I’ll just give you another. Tell me how you feel then."

Bo quickly rummaged through his entire stock of potion, filling up his syringe once again without much problem.

However, this time…the liquid had turned dark blue.

It seemed like he was looking to test another potion.

’This one probably raises my agility, right?’

Aiden thought as he handed his arm toward Bo, who had a shocked look on his face. It was the first time he saw someone looking forward to getting injected with an unknown liquid. Usually, most people would be trying to run off as fast as they possibly could. But it seemed that wasn’t the case in this scenario for some strange reason.

’Maybe he’s crazy just like me Bo thought as he remembered that Aiden hadn’t doubted for a single moment that Bo wasn’t the one that he would let show.

Aiden had naively followed him around like the good little dog he was, never once doubting that he was running into a trap.

The content of the syringe once again flowed into Aiden’s body, and he put a straight face on, trying his very best not to show his excitement from receiving potions that would give him literal power.

’Where is he keeping this stuff? I’ll steal all of it when I decide to leave Aiden thought as he made sure to watch where he got all this liquid.

If Aiden managed to get access to it in huge quantities, then he would become much stronger than he currently was, and by drinking a lot of it in a short period of time, there might be some unknown effects attached to it, positive or negative…that was to find out though.

*Beep!*

Your next chapter is on empire

[You have received one stat point in Agility.]

Aiden smiled once again, happy that he was right about everything. He wasn’t disappointed to be here. He had made the right decision. He would be getting stronger in a few moments. There was no doubt about it.

If Bo kept feeding him those potions, then he would become so strong in such a short period of time. It was the perfect opportunity for him, and Aiden couldn’t wait to see what he had left for him in that mind of his.

There had to be another reason as to why he was called the Crazy Scientist.

’There has to be a reason why the others became like this… Those Lab Experiments had lost their minds. There has to be something that this man is still hiding. I just need to find it as fast as I possibly can.’

"Anything different this time?" Bo asked, trying to see if there were any reactions to Aiden’s condition. However, there was none. Aiden even had a bright smile on his face.

"Uh…nothing again."

Bo’s eyes widened because, this time, he was sure that there hadn’t been any problem with that potion. He had made sure of it before giving it to him, which meant that Aiden…

’Just how compatible is he with those potions? Why doesn’t he feel anything weird?’ Bo thought. ’Should I increase the dosage? Would that make him get a reaction from it?’

"Don’t move. I’ll be trying something else this time. Don’t worry. You’ll definitely feel something this time." Bo smiled widely.

He pulled out the biggest syringe that he had in stock. A syringe that requires him to lift it with both of his arms.

’What the fuck is doing with that? Is that why he’s called crazy?’ Aiden thought, unsure if it was still a good idea to be staying here.
