Dark Magus Returns

The group continued to follow Raze who was in front, but even he could tell there was a difference in their footsteps, they weren’t as strong as they usually were, and it was no wonder when they could see a force in front of them that was almost twice the size of their own power.

They continued to walk across most of the flat land and meadow, until they were around five hundred meters away from the first line of forces that were there.

Everyone stopped for a moment, and looked out, on the wall itself, Raze could see Heino standing there behind everyone.

‘Are you trying to tell me some type of message, to get to you, I’ll have to get through all of these people?’ Raze thought.

While Heino was looking at the force, Raze the Dark Magus had brought along with him.

“I have to admit that I’m quite impressed.” Heino commented. “He has managed to gather a large force, all within such a short amount of time being here. He really is more trouble than I expected.”

“It appears he has gathered every major clan from the Dark Faction and the Demonic Faction.” Kawak said.

On the wall itself it wasn’t just Heino, he stood there with the three Light Faction leaders, and also the last remaining Deleter Red.

The generals with their powerful items were already in the battlefield spread across different areas.

On the other side of the battlefield, Beatrix tightened her grip around her glowing light almost translucent blue weapon that had been given to her by Raze, and she also had something else, the gift handed to her by Ricar, as he passed away, another powerful item.

“Impressed? You shouldn’t be standing on that side so proudly, and it’s not just her.” She recognized further into the group there were the other Dawnblade Clan members, including the other Elders that hadn’t come with them.

Meanwhile Zon could see his target as well, Red standing on the wall.

“To think, that our meeting had started with us joining due to a war, and now our final meeting will end with another war.” Zon commented.

“Zon.” Anna added. “I will be by your side in this, don’t push me away… you know Red is incredibly dangerous, and you know why as well.”

A strange atmosphere could almost be felt flowing through the air. Neither side was moving, and just standing in front of the other was draining their energy, but it was clearly draining one side’s energy more than the other.

“Everyone!” Kawal shouted. “Show them your might!”

In an instant, all hundred thousand members both that of the empire, as well as the warriors, lifted their hands and cheered.

“ARGHHHHHHHHH!”

The screams from all of them at once shook the entire battlefield. Through their voices alone they could feel the vibrations on the ground.

When they had come to a stop, the look on the warriors’ faces were ghostly. It had put the large force they were going to come up against into perspective.

“What are you people doing!” A voice shouted, and when they saw the person who turned around they could see it was Lince from the Lost Clan.

“Since when has any clan or warriors from the Demonic Faction been intimidated by numbers!” Lince shouted. “The Demonic Faction strives on being the strongest. If they are three times bigger than us, five times bigger than us, what does that mean?

“It means you only have to take out five people, each one of you only have to take out five members of this weak and pathetic clan.

“If members of the Demonic Faction can’t do that, then you should go somewhere weak, like those from the Dark Faction that do anything to win!”

“Huh, what did they say?” Gunther from the Flowing Force clan said. “Did they just call us cheap?”

“I think they did.” Bargo added from the Moonshield Clan. “These Demonic folks think they are scary, and so powerful yet they have had to call us over for help, pathetic.”

The words from the two groups started a clash. Now the two factions were shouting and spitting at each other, rage was building up inside them, but the feeling of despair that they had just moments ago, all of it had disappeared.

“We will win this fight!” Amir shouted raising his hand. “And we will take out more of the Light faction than those from the Demonic Faction!”

Those from the Dark Faction cheered with all their might as they heard these words.

“We will take out more than the Dark Faction!” Lince said with a large smile on his face. He had torn off the cloth that surrounded his mouth revealing the large scar he had across it.

Seeing this, seeing how serious even Lince was, the Demonic clan cheered as loud as they could and the force of thirty, had amplified their cheers showing that they were not afraid, even in the face of 100,000 men.

As the cheering continued, they finally saw a particular person move. Raze moved out with his flowing large blazer that curled as if alive.

He lifted his hand out, and Amir and Lince knew that was the signal to stay back.

Raze continued to walk out until he reached around the halfway point and stopped. Then casting his wind spell he amplified his voice.

“I, the Dark Magus, am here today, to get rid of the group Alter and everyone who sides with them!” Raze declared. “I am here for one reason only, to obtain the golden globe.

“Nearly all of you might not understand the words I have said, which means you don’t even know the reason you’re fighting for, or why we’re attacking.

“This is your last chance, all of you, to turn back now… if you decide to fight, and get in my way, then every one of you will be made into my enemy!” Raze declared.

The group were silenced, the empire and the Light Faction warriors knew who this was, it was the Dark Magus they had heard about, but when seeing him they couldn’t help but think… the man looked so young, it was hard for them to believe that this person was so dangerous.

“Fine.” Raze said as he pulled out his hand and dark magic swirled for a moment, until a small long object was in his hand.

“That’s!” Shay nearly jumped forward as she saw what was in Raze’s hand as she had seen it before quite recently as well.

“That was my only warning.” Raze said as he placed and started to inhale the special substance.
