Dark Magus Returns

Instantly, Shay had recognised the item that Raze had used. What he had placed into his mouth. Because she had seen it not too long ago.

‘That item, is he going to change into that old man again?’ Shay thought. ‘I thought the whole point of our training was so that he didn’t have to use that. Didn’t he have some other type of plan?’

There was a worry in her, because she saw the state that Raze was in the last time he had used the item. The amount of blood that came out from his mouth wasn’t normal by any means, it clearly had a bad side effect.

If anything she thought that he would use it at the end, not at the start of the fight.

As Raze inhaled the substance he felt it in his magic core. He felt it swirling around, and then all of the stars breaking apart and the Dark Magic core spreading through his entire body.

On the outside Raze’s body started to change. His skin started to shrivel up, his hair started to grow longer, and his back started to hunch slightly, until finally he was in his old form.

The form of the original Dark Magus from Alterian.

“Raze!” Liam called out tensing his fist. “It’s the same as back then, he’s in the same state as when he was fighting against the Behemoth Clan!”

“Right,” Safa said. “That was because of what happened to me right. But there seems to be something different?”

Safa could tell as she had been using her god eyes the entire time. There was a darkness that had surrounded the item that Raze had used.

It made her suspect that this wasn’t exactly the same.

On the other end from the wall, they could see the changes to Raze’s appearance, and immediately a deep frown had appeared on Heino’s face.

“He’s changed, he’s changed into that damn form again, and this time right from the start!” Heino claimed.

The others next to him. The leaders of the Light Faction, they didn’t realise it, but their body was shaking. They remembered well what type of destruction Raze could cause in this form.

Almost immediately, Raze lifted himself into the air with his wind magic. As he lifted up, there were those from the tower that had special artifacts.

They shot out special beams aiming to take Raze down. It was the first strike in the fight.

It had come as a surprise to the armies below and they were wondering if they should move forward or not, but both Amir and Lince had stopped them from doing so.

“No, we don’t get in the way of him, we let him do this. We’ll get caught up in his attack otherwise.” Lince said. “We’re going to see a complete massacre.”

As the beams of energy went to hit Raze they disintegrated before they even reached his body.

“I made the mistake last time. Of holding back, of not putting my own life on the line when everyone else is, I won’t do the same!”

Lifting both of his hands, up Rain started to fall to the battlefield below. As the rain fell on the people, it started to freeze over leaving them in place.

“Everyone move, move, we have to move quickly. Those with artifacts protect yourselves the best you can!” The general shouted.

The warriors and the general public but it was too late. Out of Raze’s hand he had thrown several tornadoes that landed on the floor, as they did they started to twirl and grow large in size.

Two had hit the battlefield and were hitting the front line, and they didn’t stop there, Raze quickly shot out a large amount of lightning from his hands.

It wasn’t aimed at the large army below, instead it was aimed at the tornadoes. It mixed in with the wind magic and now as the tornadoes spun it was shooting out lightning all over the battlefield.

Some of the warriors lifted up their swords to block the attacks, but as they were hit by the lightning they had gone flying in the air, and the lightning would have the special effect of lighting magic, as it attacked many of those around them.

“Attack him attack the Dark Magus!” The generals shouted.

They were ordering all of those with ranged weapons and artifacts to try strike the Dark Magus down.

Not just beams of energy, but giant bolts were being shot out from those from within the armies.

The energy and magical attacks that tried to go close to Raze all disintegrated, as for the giant bolts thrown at him.

He had stopped them with his wind magic, and then twirled it around, pushing it back with his own wind magic crashing into the people below.

“Warriors on the ground. Those that can’t attack or reach the Dark Magus, we will just have to go for his forces below!” A general ordered.

The ground members started to run forward, but the moment Raze saw that, he smiled as he looked down.

‘Using this breakthrough, it gives me the powers I had back when I was a nine star mage but there is a difference, I can still use Dark Magic, although my dark magic is not at the nine star level I still have the control and power of a nine star mage.’

Shooting right on the ground from Raze’s line was a beam of Dark magic, the moment it hit the warriors and men that tried to move forward it disintegrated their bodies, turning it into nothing. As the dark energy passed there was nothing left in their place.

It immediately caused a halt to the hundred thousand army.

As the Demonic Clans and Dark Faction clans looked at all of this, they had a thought.

“Do we even need to get involved in this fight?”
