When I woke up the next morning, I found myself resting by the side of Yuki inside of my Divine Realm, a lot had happened between the two of us last night, but even then, I was still slightly surprised everything that happened… well, happened.

It was a bit sloppy how we handled things, but it was definitely better than I imagined… Was it the right thing to do? I don’t know, but I want to believe it was. I did love her, and I still do, it was just that my love for her was a bit different than the one she was developing, and it wasn’t until recently that I started seeing her as the woman she was.

Maybe it was because I knew her when she was a little monster like me, that I never saw her the same way I see Benladann, for example, but I suppose that after all this time and her many changes, and even the reveal of her true origins, I should have started seeing her in different eyes already.

It was my fault that she got the way she did, and I had to take responsibility, because I couldn’t really afford to see Yuki crying again, her personality was always so brave and strong, that I didn’t want to see her like that, it simply didn’t fit her.

She was fast asleep right now, not even when I moved in the bed did she wake up, only cuddling even more with the pillows while occasionally biting them, whatever she was dreaming, it might be a similar dream to the ones she had in her previous form, haha.

But why did Oblivion design such a bizarre system? Why not anything else… I don’t know, easier?

[Perhaps because a power as intrinsic as Bonds cannot be easily stolen or imitated. Your foes are people that have abandoned everything for power, even if they learned everything about Archetypes, they would never be able to channel their true power, as they cannot create Bonds with others.]

Wait… Oh, I get it now, so that’s it, huh? That bastard is smart; I give you that.

[Indeed! And it is a power that not only will benefit us but many more in the future, it could be something you pass on not just your family, but people in general, power that only rewards those that are genuinely good and kind to others.]

Do you know how I can pass it on to my kids at least? Or to everyone else?

[I believe those with “potential” appear in that list, but more might appear. Once you unlock the respective Archetype for these people, they will also gain it, not just you.]

“Yuki… Are you feeling better now?” I asked her, as I caressed her little head.

“I’m fine…” she muttered. “Um, last night… Did we really do it?”

“Ah… yeah,” I nodded. “Did you like it or…?”
