MY WEREWOLF SYSTEM

Although three of the Botanic Gardens that had been taken over had somewhat been reclaimed by the Lupus pack, it wasn’t in the same state as they were before.

One of the reasons for this was because there was now no Ironfang leader taking control of each of the areas including the surrounding districts that they were in.

Werewolves belonging to other Ironfang leaders were occupying them and orders were being thrown all over the place.

Many didn’t want to expand too far away from where their reach surrounded either.

Some were even worried if they stretched too far that maybe the Altered Hunters would be able to strike.

After all, they weren’t too sure how many Altered Hunter members there still were that were out there in the open.

In one of the particular Botanic Gardens, up high on a large open giant tree there was a dome like structure at the top.

The gardens were relatively warm due to the greenhouse effect they would have with the glass for the plants.

In this particular area it was quite cool as the air conditioning was ramped up on the inside.

The particular building wasn’t part of the regular tours that would take place around the garden.

Instead it was living quarters for one of the Ironfangs that was known as Ivy.

Ivy was sitting at her desk, with her bushy eyebrows and green clothing.

She had taken to her nickname quite well and often tried to dress in ways that matched it.

Even in her Botanic Garden there was more ivy than there was in other places because of her name.

As she sat down at her desk, two men had entered and immediately went to sit on their knees as they looked at her to make a report.

“Ma’am, it seems that we have lost the storage unit team.” The man reported.

“Well it was expected, but did we manage to find another large group of them like last time?” Ivy asked as she licked her finger and was trying to push her bushy eyebrows back down.

“Not that we know of.” The man replied. “When tracking them, it seemed that they had gathered with most of the members totaling five. We didn’t see any more than that. With the last attack, we were able to take out a large amount of them.”

Ivy’s face lit up.

“This is great, this is great, I can report this back to Lupus, I’m sure he will be thrilled, and then as a thanks he will lift me up and embrace me in my arms and squeeze me tight!”

Ivy’s entire face was turning red with imagination, until it was interrupted.

“In your dreams Ivy.” A woman stated as she walked forward the sound of her long heels hitting the bottom of the floor.

“You know Lupus already has one that he has his eyes on. He doesn’t have time for extras like you.”

Immediately when Ivy saw who it was, she got from behind her desk, and went down on her knees like the two men, and the two men had also turned around, still on their knees.

“We greet the Luna!” Ivy answered, sweat was dripping partly down her face as she answered.

“Don’t be too afraid, I’m actually in quite the good mood today.” Ylva answered. “Hearing what you said is delightful news, and I will inform Lupus himself. Although I’m sure he will stay out of the castle until all has been eliminated. There’s an annoying smell in the air with these ones if you know what I mean.”

“Yes.” Ivy answered. “We will continue to expand our search and look for the remaining Altered Hunters. They need to be taught a lesson for coming so far in our territory.”

Nodding along, Ylva turned around, but there was one more question that Ivy wanted to ask.

“Will you still be using one of my private facilities? People keep complaining about how they don’t have access to that part of the tour. If it’s closed for too long I’m worried that it might raise some suspicions.” Ivy said.

As for the particular area she was talking about, it was the poison plants section.

It was one of the popular segments and what was special about this Botanic Garden compared to the rest.

Due to the nature of the plants, it was hosted in a separate part of the garden with an enclosed room and path that one had to take.

Right now, the area was covered in complete darkness, and it was off limits to the general public.

“Yes I will be.” Ylva answered. “Don’t worry, hopefully it won’t be for too much longer. As soon as I’m done I’ll be out of your hair.”

Ylva continued walking and eventually had left the room. Ivy immediately stood up with her arms folded.

“That bitch acting like she’s Lupus himself.” Ivy complained. “She should know that Lupus doesn’t even care about her, she just got lucky and can be replaced at any time. Still, I wonder, what is she even doing in the poison plants section?” Ivy wondered.

Just outside the poison plants section, Ylva had moved past the no entry sign, she continued walking until she reached the wooden door with the lock.

Then using her key she unlocked the door. Immediately entering inside the dark space she turned to her right.

“Have things been good while I’ve been away?” Ylva asked.

“They have been the same as when you left.” Midwak answered.

Ylva continued to walk forward and just behind her Midwak kept around three meters away following.

When they finally reached a particular spot, she stopped and stared.

“It’s a beautiful sight isn’t it?” Ylva asked.

Right in front of her, tied up in chains attached to steel beams on the ceiling, and attached to the ground, were two men in the air.

Their bodies severely wounded, but they were still partially conscious.

One of them, dark skinned in colour, with blonde swept back hair, as for the other, he was well built with flowing dark brown hair.

“I’m glad you managed to convince me to keep these two alive. Rather than killing them, I think they will be the perfect companions to have by my side.” Ylva claimed.
