Number One Dungeon Supplier

Chapter 2164: Rationalising The King’s Decision

"You know, it's better that you start treating Peppers better," Kraft said as he looked through the console that Jin was watching as well in the Throne Hall.

"Urgh, looks like she is truly going through her rebellious phase. I just hope Milk can keep her in check…" Jin was approving of Peppers' increase in powers but it was not necessarily a good thing that her attitude was not the same as when she first started this job.

In the meantime, the rest of the guards that were supposed to be keeping the Throne Hall defended had also been sent out of the room so that they could aid Milk whenever possible.

All that was left would be the Commando Mages, the Royal Advisor, and the King himself. To the Commando Mages, this had been a battle for vengeance and yet Jin was holding them back as if to show the deal he had made with the Celestials.

It brought them great confusion since Jin had always been saying that they were a bunch of assholes that need to be placed in check yet he made a contract with them? What does this all mean?

And here they are talking about how funny it was to see a Celestial being toyed by one of the King's comrades from another world. Do they think that all of this is a game? No.8 was not hesitant to ask for permission to speak and asked the reason for all of this.

"Why? You ask?" Jin looked at the No.8 as well as the rest of the Commando Mages.

"Did you see how Kraft fought against Kalki and Parashurama?" Jin posed that one question and they all kept quiet. Despite being an elite Mage in Ress, they were nowhere near the level of Kraft. And it seemed like they were intelligent enough to not let Jin question them any further but that helplessness that they felt could not go away.

The death of their comrade felt like it was just a stepping stone to complete this.

"So, choose your battles wisely…is what I am about to tell all of you. None of you would be at Kalki or Parashurama's standard. Yes, with the Anti Celestial Compound in all of your bullets, you might stand a chance. But remember that our objective is to survive, not to pull a huge ruckus that the entire Celestial Plane is coming to destroy all of us." Jin replied.

"That is why he is your king because he is able to think far. Dumbass." Kraft said so bluntly it hurt the Commando Mages internally. "Do you think that the Celestials will forgive us for killing the Dasha-whatever-tara? So, not only their God of Preservation is gone, but his disciples or avatars blah blah blah had disappeared.

Do you think the Celestials will brush it off?" Kraft walked down the steps before the throne and started to cast gravity on all of them as punishment.

"This is the physical manifestation of the overwhelming burden that you will handle. Yes, you might have your craving settled today, but the cycle continues. Unless you are strong enough to wipe the entire Celestial Plane out and make them your servants, then perhaps I will say you have a shot at getting your revenge." Kraft noted the futility.

"So, what your dear King had done is to give all of you that chance to kill these Celestials over and over and over again. Until you are satisfied and think that they are just sparring partners by putting them in this contract of 'entertainment'."

"Who will benefit? Perhaps the Celestials since they get to do the same to you as well once they learn the tricks needed to stop you.

And when that happens, you will either improve or be devolved into livestock for them to farm you again and again for their own pleasure." Kraft was rattling on while continuously applying the gravity spell on the Commando Mages that Jin had decided that intervening at this time would be a good idea.

"Stop it," Jin said as he cast his Maqi to cancel out the chi based spell that Kraft used. "They are not wrong but it's just that I kept this out of the loop from most people that it is normal they could not see what we could in the long term aspect."

"Meh. If you say so." Kraft shrugged his shoulders and suddenly, the person who kept his profile low despite being the trump card of the situation during the Celestial Negotiation began to interject this opinion.

"Are you seriously considering providing entertainment to the Celestials?" Lord Vishnu questioned and Jin nodded his head.

"Am I going to head to head with the God of Dungeons or some God of Entertainment?" Jin asked and Lord Vishnu shook his head.

"If you put it that way, the only God you need to be aware of would be Dionysus from the Greeks. There is really no God of Dungeons at all."

"Heh, then I really can be the Number One Dungeon Supplier by being a God of Dungeon." Jin remarked casually that Kraft approved of the comment…just not Lord Vishnu.

"You can try, but I am saying is that the Celestials would be rather harsh in terms of criticism. They are not a bunch that would be pleased so easily and they need a lot of variety. If you are not to their standard in any ways, then perhaps the best case scenario is that you will be dismissed."

"Worse case scenario…ehhh annihilating the world I am in?" Jin theorised.

"More or less, perhaps the galaxy or universe that you are in. Depending which god you fucked up." Lord Vishnu smirked when Jin told him a response that was close to his expectations.

"I see. Looks like it will be a good challenge opening up a dungeon supplier store in the Celestial Planes." Jin said and Lord Vishnu nodded his head.

"Good thing is that if they liked you, they will pay you more than just dungeon dollars. They might even give you blessings or minions so that the next Celestial that comes in would be trashed. That is why no one ever wants to be the God of Entertainment, much less the God of Dungeons. The Celestials are just too picky and demanding."

"Then I guess, I will need all the help I can get from your fellow enemies too." Jin said as he remembered that passing this so called World Trial would definitely help Baal out. The only problem is that does he have to really stay for another 4 years odd for this Celestial Prophecy to happen, or had he fulfil the conditions now that the Dashavatara descended.

All he know is that once Peppers beat a pulp on the Celestial Trickster which she is doing now and Milk calmed the situation down outside, this is pretty much in the bag. Ress had been a good city building experience for him even though he believed he had overprepared on certain aspects.

However, the situation that he was in could not have been resolved had he not been so zealous in building stuff to the point that it exhausted himself day in day out.

But what he could say is that despite this strenuous training of a trial, he now get has a chance to play with the big guys.
