Chapter 1042 - 1042: Fancy Meeting You Here

Half an hour later, the Monarchs and the Thrones looked at the countless Jinns emerging from the gate where the Death Bat had come from.

“Are you sure they are friends with Zion?” Lawrence asked the question that the Monarchs and the Thrones wanted to ask as they gazed at the five Rank 9 Sovereigns and twenty Rank 8 Sovereigns.

This force was more than enough to conquer even the Sirius Continent, which was the largest piece of land in Pangea.

“I think so,” Arthur replied vaguely.

He wanted to say yes, but a part of him was still in doubt whether his no-good grandson was really friends with the Death Bat.

The Patriarch of the Leventis Family was very tempted to wipe the beads of sweat that had formed on his forehead, especially after hearing the words that Zion was saying to Camazotz.

“Why is your army so weak?” Thirteen asked in disdain. “Only five Rank 9 Sovereigns? You disappoint me, Camazotz.”

“You brat! Do you think Rank 9 Sovereigns grow on trees like fruits?!” Camazotz was very tempted to give the teenage boy a good smacking, but he knew that if he did that, his Senior Brother, Cranky, would smack him to oblivion.

“Hmph! As far as I know, those Rank 9 Sovereigns don’t belong solely to you,” Thirteen scoffed. “Did Paimon and Kamrusepa send their subordinates as well? Dang… I know you were the weakest in our group, but this is still very disappointing.”

The Monarchs and the Thrones wanted to tell Zion not to antagonize the Death Bat or else it might slap him to meat paste.

Every time the teenage boy talked smack about Camazotz, all the adults could feel their liver itch.

This was a being that could fight them all single-handedly, yet a Rookie was talking down on it, and the Death Bat could only stomp his feet angrily to vent his frustrations!

“I’m starting to think that your grandson has balls of steel,” Lawrence said. “Should I be worried?”

“You’ll get used to it,” Arthur replied. After all, he had already seen things that many deemed as impossible, but was still done by his no-good grandson.

“So, where should we go from here?” Camazotz asked. “What is the most ideal place in this land to settle down?”

“Do you like hot springs or do you prefer cold places?” Thirteen asked as he showed the Death Bat a projection of the Cygni Continent. “If you like mountains with a good view, the North is a good place to go. It’s just a little cold, but you’ll get used to it.”

“Hmm…” Camazotz rubbed his chin as he looked at the projection in front of him.

Suddenly, Thirteen’s eyes widened in shock after Athena informed him that another one of the six gates had a sudden mutation.

Originally, three out of the six gates were deemed to have the potential to allow a Majin Prince to pass through.

But now, a fourth gate showed signs of change, and this time, one of the worst-case scenarios finally happened.

‘The Artemians had come, and they brought an army meant to conquer a world.’ Thirteen closed his eyes to get a better look at the army that was walking out of the new mutated gate.

Dozens of Azothralls in different colors emerged behind the Winged Artemians, who had the Ranks of Thrones and Monarchs.

They were led by an Archon, who was flanked by two golden Azothralls, and they were currently on the march to find a good place to set up as their headquarters.

Thirteen then shifted his attention to the Gates that the two Jinn Armies were currently guarding.

“What the…” Thirteen couldn’t help but think that his eyes might be playing tricks on him.

“What’s wrong?” Camazotz asked. “You don’t look so good.”

“A big problem has appeared,” Thirteen replied. “But we need to address another problem before it spirals out of control. Zapar has also crossed over from Solterra.”

“Huh?” Camazotz looked at the teenage boy. “Zapar? As in the Zapar that we know?”

“Yes.” Thirteen nodded. “Camazotz, please go to the North East,” Thirteen said as he took out a communicator from his dimensional storage and strapped it on Camazotz’s wrist.

He then pressed a few buttons to create a map, where a red blinking dot could be seen.

“That is your destination,” Thirteen said. “This is where you are.”

The teenage boy pointed to the green dot at the bottom, representing Camazotz.

“The Jinns that you will find there are my allies,” Thirteen stated. “Tell them that I was sent by Zion, and they should not attack you. Hurry, we don’t have much time!”

Camazotz knew better than to argue with Thirteen, so he didn’t hesitate to take off to the skies and travel at the speed of sound.

He knew that the teenage boy wouldn’t ask him to do anything unless it was very important.

As the Death Bat traveled Northeast, the Jinns under Zapar’s command were now emerging from the purple gate.

“Hoh… what do we have here?” Zapar looked at the Jinn Armies that were facing his own, and sneered. “Did all of you come here to declare your allegiance to me? If yes, I will allow all of you to kneel and go under my banner.”

Prince Valen, Princess Xynalia, Prince Xylen, and the other leaders of the Jinns that had come to face the new variable couldn’t help but look at Zapar with grim expressions.

Thirteen had warned them that the possibility of a Majin Prince appearing at the gate that they were guarding was quite high.

But seeing it in reality made them understand that this was a being that they were not ready to face.

Zapar might not be the strongest Majin Prince within the Order of the Apocalypse, but he was still a very capable warlord.

He knew how to use tactics, psychology, and brute force to get his way.

Although he knew that he would be able to wipe out his enemies, the price he had to pay was equally high.

In fact, the army that he had brought over might get wiped out if he decided to clash with the Jinns, whose numbers far exceed his, six to one.

Just as Zapar was trying to use intimidation and fear tactics to overwhelm the Jinns, he felt a familiar presence that shocked him to his very core.

“Impossible…” Zapar muttered, but a moment later, a blazing comet appeared in the sky.

This comet then made a nose dive, heading in his direction, making Zapar’s gaze turn solemn.

“It’s really you, Zapar.” Camazotz landed on the ground, creating a shockwave that blew away the Jinns near Zapar. “Fancy meeting you here.”

The corner of Zapar’s lips twitched because he was unable to say the same to Camazotz.

He thought that the moment he crossed over to Pangea, he would be able to become its sole ruler.

But now that the Death Bat was here, he had to change his plans. The Camazotz now was someone whom he recognized as a rival stronger than him.

“Ah, wait a minute,” Camazotz raised his hand to stop whatever Zapar was going to say. “I’ll talk to those guys first.”

Without even waiting for Zapar’s reply, Camazotz flew towards the Jinns that was hesitating to attack Zapar and his army.

Seeing that a second Majin Prince had arrived, Prince Valen’s expression turned a shade darker.

Especially since Camazotz landed only a few meters away from him.

“Zion sent me here,” Camazotz said. “Don’t fight that guy. He is our acquaintance. Zion is just unable to contact you right now because of the interference with the gate. For now, stand down. We don’t have to do things the hard way.”

The Death Bat then returned to Zapar’s side to have a little chat with him, leaving Prince Valen and the leaders of the Jinn Faction sighing in relief in their hearts.
